In Topic: Least Favorite BG2 NPC!

I have to say any NPC that gives me grief, Jaheira, edwin, i just don't like the attitude, oh omnipresent authority figure! if she is not careful she will find herself a stone statue after having read a cursed scroll of petrification!

Unfortunatly when you use imprisonment on locals some do go hostile,

for example lady de arnise, the queen bee, the biddy from hades, the woman who thinks her dookie dosnt stink...

yep if you imprison her, you lose rep, and her protector goes hostile. but there was once when i got her, and her protector had just left the screen!

but when the keep became mine, i lost rep she didnt make it to say she was not staying there HA

but it sure is fun to know that she is in a place where she really really really belongs for all time!

once in awhile, as i know no other way, i like to have my parties in certain orders. and will use the cursed scrolls of petrification to rearrange my party. fighters towards the front, others in the back.

its just a game and my party members do not have any feelings, its not like i am actualy hurting them.

well i am pleased to see that IWD will be added to the big world project?

i am playing now with a party, my new kensai, Jeheria, kalhid, safana, kira silverstone the bard at the circus, and imoen.

my settings are on the easyest, and i just got to the cloakwoods where i am getting stomped into the ground losing characters right and left.... i should have known something was not quite right at the bandit camp where my first little incursion at the edge of the camp brought the whole camp down on us.

every bandit that was in or near that camp came to where we saw the first hobgoblins at the closest hut to the stone pathway.

i dont see how people can play on the harder levels when the easy level is harder than the hard level of the pre big world BG1 lol

and the mages like tranzig, they dont figtht like they used too, 1 mage can be difficult, and i am not looking forward to the cloakwood mines now, because i have a bad feeling daveron is gonna be a pain lol.

oh well maybe ill start over and try a wizard slayer.

One of the things i have learned about rpg's is that quests have you running here and there to do them, i think it would be so cool, if we could travel at any time, between the sword coast and amn, and throne, talk about running to find an item in throne that you need in BG.

and what would blow my mind, would be to combine, all the bioware games into one, BG1/Tosc, BG2/Throne, Icewind Dale1, Icewind Dale2, Plainscape torment. yes torment is single player, but i can still hope.

I have often day dreamed about seeing all of the rpg's i have played being combined into one super huge world, going back to dark sun, world of xeen, dragon lore, the Krynn series, even diablo 1 & 2 i mean every good rpg out there combined into one super huge gaming world.

every old game being redone with the best gaming engine and combined and having quests that span all the games in one never ending story because monsters respawn and new quests are created randomly so that such a game never truly ends, and maybe some quests involve fighting other people online to do.

hey its my fantasy and it would be a world of unimaginable proportions!

Thank you i did start BG2 and to my surprise instead of shadows of amn and throne it was BG1 and throne.

also to my surprise you can choose a kit in bg1 just like shadows i am so stoked!

one question remains, are all the places shown on the world map places you can actually go?

and can you travel back to say bergost from say watchers tower?

Thanks
