crash on resting outside inn eg wilderness or town

Everytime I try to rest I get a crash. Not sure how to begin debugging it either. Is there a way to check which scripts are trying to run when you rest outside?

Just realized it was edwin. something about him is crashing the game on rest...

How to remove damage animation?

the item "thunder bullet" in the RoT mod has play damage animation effect that is permanent so now my characters are permanently electrified. is there a "stop damage animation" effect to get rid of it?
