This link isn't found.  I'm having this similar problem, although the assassins are not attacking, just following my party around.  Is Lamalha part of this group as well, or is that a hold over from NTotSC?  I found her CRE file (along with Maneira, Telka, and Zeela from NTotSC) in my BWP installation, and found out that if I CLUA Lamalha into the area and talk to her, the dialog opens, and then when Lamalha turns hostile, so do Elka and Natalka.  Simple work around, really if you want to initiate "honest" combat with them, I suppose....

I'm having this same type of problem and not finding the solution with these suggestions.  With my Windows 8 system, trying to run the Big World Installer.bat, an error message comes back saying that Windows cannot find the pulse_bar.bat (even through it's in there).  Same results with the command prompt.  Moving the 25Movie.bif, adding the text file and changing the ini has not worked.  With previous attempts, I've had this hang up on 1pp, AjocMod, and a few others.  Currently the hang up is with BuTcHeRy.
