Problem is, in the BWS, that component does not show up. So either it is being installed without it being present in the checklist or I am not seeing it or something else is changing stuff it shouldn't change.it's caused by an incompatibility with Refinements and the BG2 Tweak Pack component "Expanded Dual-Class Options" that allows Barbarians and Wild Mages to dual-class. It is inadvisable to use them together. It should be fixed in recent versions.

As I already mentioned in the BWS thread, but it should be put here because it's more correct I guess:
When creating a Wild Mage, he enters the game as a regular mage, but one who cannot use daggers, slings or spell scrolls (among other things, no doubt)
After searching these forums, I found possible culprits to be the Ding0 Quest/Tweak packs, Refinements and Amber NPC. I cannot confirm if these are indeed (partially) responsible as I cannot reïnstall now as the new BWS version has other problems here, but is there any more recent info on this bug?

I can't get the latest version to work. Some bugs I encountered:
- Weidu.exe is an old version when he tries to install the fixes. Then after, he tries to update it. So the installer says it doesn't understand the --language 0 option.
- this happens:
Ow and I also encountered the "wild mage is just a regular mage and can't use daggers or scrolls" bug. Is there already a fix for it? I have removed Refinements, Amber and Ding0 quest- and Tweak packs just to be sure as they seem to influence this.
Any solutions?

Well, since I'm done installing and have biffed everything, I want to save even more space and delete those left over mod folders. I just wanted to be sure they aren't used by the game anymore (which they shouldn't be, but you never know)
OK, then I can delete the mod folders and tp2 files, saves me (maybe) another 500MB or so. (netbook, every MB saved is handy)

Thanks for the feedback.
Will not install other kits then. No problem.
Another question: I have ran the BiG World Cleanup bat file, but I still have directories and .tp2 files around.
Which of those can be safely deleted? Which directories must be kept? I assume all mod-related stuff is in my override/data directories and those (for example) 1pp_thief_avatar directory can be safely deleted as well as remaining .tp2 files?
