Hi, I'm sure this question is better suited here than as a bug report. I just got the Trilogy mod with apprehension regarding what I might miss out on from the original game. I noticed the chanters at Candlekeep didn't sing the beloved "So sayeth the wise Alondo" but pressed on, for it's a minor sacrifice to play in the new engine. Then I left Candlekeep...

and my question is what can I do about automatically dying during the Gorion fight scene?

Gory gets his first magic missle off while the female merc (or whatever she's supposed to be) launches fire at me. I die, and it triggers the death menu. As far as I can tell i'm not in control of the character so what's the deal? Is there anything I can do to get past that? It would suck if the Bhaalspawn got his head blown off seconds out the gate. What kind of story is that?
