Although i have plyed d&d since 1986 its not my prefered rpg of choice, although i admit i amm not familiar with the latest versions; all my rulebooks are from around 1985-90.

Other rpg i am familiar with are Harnmaster, and Runequest. and dragon warriors, but thats really obscure!


Runequest as a % based system with mana based magic casting always seemed a more fun game than d+d more rigid system.

IS anyone else here familiar with these rules systems? or other similar % based rpg games.

ID2 crash patch

I have tried to run an un moded version of iwd2 on win xp and cant getit to work

I mean it loads and plays for a random amount of time before crashing.

Never got out of the starting town, cos of crashes.

am having problems with the missions.

esp missions 10-13.

many of them load up but dont load the UI so i am sat there looking at the characters, and background but have no way to move them around or infact pressing the keyboard does nothing. (am running xp)

Has anyone got past the 13 missions?


IS there a way to skip past these.?


is the developer for this TC still alive?
