I can't believe it! Everything works perfectly, there's no sign of BG1 Jaheira and the game doesen't crash. Superb. Thank you very much. I'm impressed at how well this forum works and helps people

Not stupid at all. Open the baldur.gam and find the BG1 Jaheira in the lower right box (non-player characters). She is probably named something like *AHEIR. Then you need to switch to the Edit tab, scroll down the list to the non-player characters and find the one with the matching name. Remove this one and save the file afterwards.

I found the *AHEIR in the lower right box and then I clicked "edit" in the upper left hand corner and scrolled down the list and removed BG1 Jaheira (non-player characters). Then I saved the changes but when I load the new save the game crashes... Does anyone have any ideas? Am I doing the right things?

Err...How do actually open the baldur.gam? I should be able to do this with Near infinity v. 1.32? I'm really bad at this.
