Getting the idea from the recent thread here, I was thinking why are goblins, duergars and such in Irenicus's dungeon.
Either he has this dungeon keeper addiction or it's like a /gasp dungeon!!! Which of course can be and will be plundered by heroes!
So here is the mod idea:
-To spice up the starting dungeon a bit, add an adventuring party to it
-Without or with knowing about Irenicus or You they just came to loot and pillage whatever they can find (as every good party does)
-There could be a quest, where you join them and assault a heavily guarded area - aka - a larger scale battle
-It wouldn't add a whole new dimension to the game but maybe it could add a little new flavour to it.
-As an added bonus you could meet the group later in the game - either dead (skeleton with that armor in windspear) or alive (trying to find a talking sword in the severs).

In my recent game my party became sort of....EVIL...(I really didn't want it to happen...guess people don't like if you sacrifice little girls for a Cyric temple).
So naturally I though I WILL need a divine champion of evil. No question. Viconia.
Bad thing, I had SCS II installed (for the 1st time) so when I went to get Vic I was...well...massacred.
No biggie I thought, I'll get Jan then come to rescue her.
Yes, you are right she was burnt for good by the time I got back. (stupid mistake I know).
So here am I, without an evil divine caster.
Aerie will leave + I have Valen in my party so Aerie WILL leave then come back to spit in my face then leave again.
I left Jaheria at Irenicus (I was in a hurry...what?)
Cernd sucks.
The pala guys are again, out of question.
I've been looking around the mod scene, but probably to my inability, I was unable to find ANY divine caster for a bad group.
What gives?

How do YOU play?

Greetings everyone! This is my first post so please be gentle with those +1 noob basher stones!
I've been playing with the infinity games since BG 1 and from time time I fell in love with them again, and have this urge (I think you are all familiar with it) to waste my every avaible second on it.
So my question is, after the N+1th playthrough, how do you play the game?
You play it through from beginning to the end, roleplaying every little action or you ctrl+y your way through it?
How do you test/try out a new mod (be it an npc or some other thing) from a player's perspective?
How is your "fun playthrough" looks like?
That's all for now
Cheers,
