Because the script uses the hotkey to cast the UAI spell ability (same as the one thieves get on HLA) to the character. Be sure that the party AI is on. I don't think there are any flashy spell effects, just check with a restricted item if it worked.

Hey hlidskialf, you think you could load up the script and try it to see if it works. I'm not getting any result when I hit E. Maby I have to set my controls to have E ste to something?? I dunno I'm thinking of the possibilites why it would go when I hit E

Actually I use this one all the time for testing purposes.
Question: Do you have TOB installed? If not that would explain it. SOA doesn't have the spell or support the effect.
Also make sure you don't have the 'E' key assigned to anything else. Are you actually testing this with a restricted item after use, or are you just expecting a "cast spell" effect to prove it? The latter doesn't happen and must test it via the former method.

Nope I figured I wouldn't need TOB since I wasn't going to play it =P, I was wrong. I see alot of mods(including valen) need it. Well, Is it possible to install TOB right on top of The Darkest Day? OR am I gonna need to redo everything =P

Regardless of what you think you may have installed, install the BG2:SoA official patch or BG2:ToB official patch
Install "The Darkest Day" expansion v1.0.3 and v1.0.3-to-v1.0.3A Patch to where you have BG2 installed (as it says in the installer, the "BG2 Path").
