It seems unfair that BG Forum has one of these and this one does not. ;)
So then, who do you think would win?
Magus: "If history is to change, let it change! If their world is to be destroyed, so be it! If my fate is to be destroyed... I must simply laugh!!"

Vash: "Normally when you buy an old, used bike, you're supposed to repair it before riding it!"
Wolfwood: "Are you dissing my beautiful shiny Angelina II?!?"
Vash: "I'm dissing YOU, not your stupid broken bike!"

Ditto.

Others have little to counter the run-away-backstab-repeat tactic.

If the room isn't big enough for that, it's between Dak'kon and Vhailor.

I'd go with the Gith on pure sympathy.
Мы должны как раз дать эту хромающую страну к русским. Они awesome! Идет Nader! Кустик и Kerry имеют придурковатые weasels в их кальсонах!

Vhailor ain't that good if you think about - anyone with a high wis can destroy him with a logical paradox

Morte could use Litany Of Curses on Dak'kon, disrupting his chain of thought and allowing Morte to chew his legs off

The room would have to be fireproof otherwise Ingus would just cook everyone alive ;)
Fall-from-grace could get Morte to do whatever she wants.
Although Morte could fake death until theres only one person left.....

Vhailor ain't that good if you think about - anyone with a high wis can destroy him with a logical paradox

You also require CHR>20 for that to work (not even Fall-From-Grace has that high of a charisma), otherwise Vhailor would attack anyway. :P
Therefore, all of the other NPCs would have to fight Vhailor the hard way. Ignus and Fall-From-Grace would get killed by Vhailor since Vhailor has 100% immunity to magic.

I'm not voting, but something to consider is whether the level 10 NPCs have their respective stat upgrades.
For example:
Dak'kon could have a STR+1, DEX+2, CON+2 upgrade
Morte could have a STR+4, DEX+2, CON+2 upgrade
Nordom is completely variable.

Dak'kon would have a huge advantage if the contest is made at level 25 though since his "starting weapon" would be upgraded to +3 when his mage level hits 11.

It would be morte. Hes a floating skull. He can hit high, he can hit low, he can hit anywhere. I mean he could pop up and attack from anywhere. He floats. He can float anywhere. and hes fast. He flys like a butterfly, Stings like a bee.

Now that I think about it, if Vhailor gets to his full power like for the Fortress of Regrets battle against the Transcendent One he can easily win even at level 10.

Since
1. At level 10, he has the best "starting weapon"
2. He is immune to magical attacks and thus will defeat the magic users.
3. With STR=21, DEX=25, CON=25, he is easily the annihilate the fighters, since his accuracy would be boosted with the strength bonus, and his armor class would be phenomonal with the dexterity.

I think the conditions of the contest needs to be clearer.

OK here's the new and improved rules:
1) All NPC's are on level ten
2) All NPC's have starting equipment and no other items
3) All NPC's have starting stats

Most likely Morte. The litany is a VERY powerful tool  ^_^

And this helps against fighters... how?

If successful, the victim of Litany of Curses suffers:
-2 to hit
-2 to damage
+2 to AC
and will always attack Morte with a physical hand to hand attack for the duration of effect.

A good support spell even against fighters. However, with a vastly inferior starting weapon, it definitely wouldn't allow Morte to win in single combat against Dak'kon, Vhailor or even Nordom (I wonder what his "hand-to-hand" combat would be). :P

Though from my experience, Morte's Litany of Curses need to be upgraded (by hearing creative insults) at least twice to have any significant chance of succeeding.

So, Ragnar...
Upgraded abilities or no?
