Well, as I posted in the Hubelpot Writing Guide, I know who he shouldn't interject with. Aaron couldn't care less about him, nor could Irenicus, Bodhi, Firkraag, all the Big Bads. On the other hand, interjections in Jiella's quest make good sense, as well as conversations with NPCs and CHARNAME triggered by game events.

Keldorn and Cernd's quests?

Keldorn - married man to married man
Cernd - druid to druid

Yup, those make sense.

In Keldorn's banter, the classic literary model to follow is the worldly servant advising his master, or the Sergeant addressing his Captain. There is a social divide to bridge there, but mutual respect as well.

In Cernd's case, a modified version of what MTS suggested will do. It's worth remembering that Faldorn, Jaheira, and Cernd are all idealistic Big Issue druids. They're activist movers and shakers interested in the cosmic significance of their roles. Hubelpot is concerned with the crop coming up this year and next, with getting food into mouths and looking after the livestock. He dosen't hold the Balance of Nature in contempt, he just trusts it to look after itself while he looks after the cabbages.

Very true. All of it.

I especially liked the Keldorn-thing.

Just finishing up dialogs today, and a heavy workload on Wednesday. It will be Thursday night before all of the writing is done, if we're lucky. Until that point, I would ask our so patient voice actors to hang on. Your scripts are coming. :)

At this point I'm only including banters, but MTS has sold me on the idea of interjections as well. If we have time to do them before the 19th, we will. If not, I'll ask SC if he's willing to do an Interjection Pack after the first version of the mod is out.

And we'll have to do a LOT of work, to manage that timeframe... I'm up to my ears as it is now... Why am I posting here and not coding?

I suggest we do a poll on the forum. Would the crowd like to wait a few more days for interjections in the first release, or should we make an interjection-pack later?

Allmost everything dialog wise now done. We may add one or two things, and there will probably be a TOB Banter Pack, but Hubelpot is almost ready. Except for little things like massive amounts of coding and bug fixing. ;)

There isn't really massive amount of coding left. Just a few dialogues, that's all.
