The progress looks great guys. I kinda like the name Morag, or even Morgan.

Morgan's actually a male name in Swedish.

Let's go with Morag. Good solid female Gaelic name; iirc, means "Sun".

Sounds good...

What about giving the son extra screen-time, as I suggested before (if we're going to have a voice-actor to him)?

At this point we already have one full quest and many banters; My goal was "one week NPC", and I'd like to keep shooting for that. We can always add more later. Thrain is slated to do Hamlish (the son) and the corrupt merchant's guild representative in the Copper Coronet, and has expressed some concerns; NotMrT is slated to do Hubelpot. I think we'll have to see what happens.

If possible, I'd like the son to continue talking to Hubelpot even after the money is delivered, even if it's just a few rotating phrases ("Ello our dad", "Ey pop", "Geesa break da', ahm workin' 'ere"). Also, what do you think of placing him in the "kitchen" area of the Five Flagons tavern? It seems better than placing him outside, and there aren't any extra buildings I can think of right now that would make a good bakery.

He's an adult male with a deep voice. He might sound odd as the son. On the other hand, he might sound perfect. We'll see. :)

As we've discovered with Cleric Remix, trying to actually implement one less spell per level is not as easy as it seems at first glance. Also the random group of thugs in the Bridge District are used in the Limited Wish quest.

I wan't thinking of the Boomerang gang, but the gang in the "warehouse". They're guardng a chest and a cabinet that contains a few scrolls.

If worse comes to worse, we can spawn some guys in the house that has the Horn of Valhalla.

Oh, got it. Nevermind.

You say you had problems with -1 spell per level in Cleric remix? Could you possibly share the fix?

When we find one, we will. :) There's also an outside chance it's due to our sphere spell implementation and not the loss of a spell slot.

i don't feel like crossing my legs for that length of time conrad :)

i'll see what i can do when a script comes my way, although i won't be putting nomrt's scottishness into the son (as i can't do scottish to save my life).

i'm loving the banters btw, all have been great quality

Update on the kit

Okay, here's the deal: Me and Bob decided that the player should (at installation of the mod) have the option to choose which kit s/he wants Hubelpot to have. The player can choose to either install the "Village Druid"-kit or the "Vegetable Farmer"-kit. If none of those are chosen, Hubelpot will be a Totemic Druid (the one that's already in the game). That way the players can choose which kit they want to use (the serious or the not-so-serious), and will also have the option not to install any new kit at all, if s/he doesn't want to, and simply use one of those already in the game.

The new kits (either one of them) will not be selectable by the PC, only Hubelpot will be able to be a Village Druid or a Vegetable Farmer.

I LOVE the idea of the kit being user choice. I'll say it again, I LOVE IT! I think it is great when mods come with "optional components", since not everyone has the same taste and wants the same things in their games. Great job on that cats!

Bob: We cannot forget to give credits to Sir-Kill and Sol Ek Sa in the readme. Wasn't it the same Sir-Kill that tweaked the portrait, as well?

Yup, and the voice actors as well.

Domi sent me a great dialog for Edwin, but we could still use more.

Probably yes. Once the voice-scripts are done, I'm going to send a full set to NotMrT and Thrain for all three characters. Hubelpot definitely gets a full voice set, and either Hamlish or Blake will get a voice set.

Thank you Imm. :) I was hoping that the scripts would go out to the voice actors tonight, but at this rate I don't think all the writing will be done before Wednesday. Conrad has been coding like mad, so we're OK there. Hopefully Hubelpot will be released sometime next week (fingers crossed).

After which I'll owe Sconrad a ton of writing for his swashbuckler. ;)

Get 'em in then! We can use them. :)

Tomorrow will be the cut-off, at least for now. This started as a one day NPC, then became a one week NPC, and is turning into a ten day NPC. I'd like it to stop there. ;)

(I'm not saying that there will never be a refinement, upgrade or expansion; just that this has to get done and out in a reasonable time frame if it's going to be out at all).
