I am about to star playing bg2 again and I am considering which mods to put into it. And this Nalia mod is kind of iffy. Its not weidu and I can remember when I downloaded it long, long ago people not really liking it.

I've just started playing it, it seems well written in terms of story, but i'm finding it very buggy - but if its your first mod you may have better luck than me - i have heard ppl say that if u download this mod it is worth first backing up your bgii dlg.tlk file, chitin key, and override files

Back up your files like Zethre has suggested and install it first after patches for the game. It only has the SoA portion (ToB has not been yet finished and I have no idea when it will). It did seem like a decently written story but its buggy, incomplete and seems to move too quickly and you are recommended to have Minsc in the party. I don't play it anymore but I remember it was good fun the first time but then I didn't want to bother playing it again after -_-

that was me :P

I think the other romances such as Tashia's, Aerie's...etc are more worth it.

Since that post above, I've uninstalled the game, deleted the override file, (i had failed to take my own good advice and back things up first  ) removed ALL of my other mods to another file, which i've stored on the desktop for the time being, re-installed the game, reinstalled the official patches, and installed the Nalia mod ONLY.

So far it hasnt been buggy....

(touch wood)

The story line is nice, lots more detail to the isea story etc, quite a few banters so far, seems to move quite fast - but then i play quite fast, so i like that aspect of it :)

hope that helps

I have to delete my copy of BGII and all mods and start over every month or so, but now I have made a full proof list of mod installation order so I have about 30-40 mods and loads of customisations and I don't get any bugs :)

Okay, so we know the Imoen mod has no TOB, but what happened to the Juna mod? Been 2 weeks already, I'd like to know. Thanks in advance.

If you are non-english, Nalia Romance will translate your game in English when you play male, and will remain in your language if you play female; this can be solved by copying your new Dialog.tlk (the one that comes with Nalia Rom.) to DialogF.tlk . This way, you will play all the game in English and will solve the problem with non-existing lines in the dialogf.tlk

You need to pass that list around Mr. Felstorm. I have been doing the same thing. I am running TDD, unfinished buisness, flirt pack, silver star, tashia, chloe, kelsey, solafin, kairya, and valen.

So yeah I blew off Nalia and the Imoen mod. I think Ill just wait on the next ones, even though I cant romance Imoen in the new one coming out.

Aaaah, the problem is that TDD complicates things, a tonne of mods are not compatible with it so that's why I got rid of it (also Gorion was being ghey and not doing anything :P). If you want my list that I use then you can ask me but it is useless for TDD.
