Hmm. These are 2 different mods - the old Redemption mod only gives you Irenicus for a short time in the final battle (same as Bodhi in the Ascension) and is an add-on to Ascention .
The Longer Road is a stand alone mod that will be compatible with Ascension but will not require it. LR will give you Irenicus as full time joinable npc for entire ToB portion of the game.
What Readme do you want to read? I see no point of putting the old one online -- it is available with the old Redemption mod download.
The new mod is not ready yet -- I am currently coding it but it is far from complete. The Readme file for LR will be available when the mod is released.
