Well, if it is correct I get my laptop today. However, I have to install everything first and then get through the company check... hope they let me keep my games... or else no modding. For you need BG2 for coding.... keep your fingers crossed.

Problems arose, not even due to company checks, see this topic.
Also my laptop seems to have no sound How am I supposed to code some stuff then. A try-out with another game caused it to crash because of the lack of sound... At least the guys from IT here were also suprissed due to the lack of sound and they are going to try and fix this...

Okay, as can be seen I brought out Kido version 5.0. Now a short silence again. Why?
Well, my grandmother (last grandparent) past away last weekend and I'm going from Austria to the Netherlands to pay my last respects... due to timetables I need to go on wednesday and be back on the job no earlier then monday (can not even garantuee that exact date, but surely not much later).
Thus only a short silence, but no quick reactions as people are used to from me.
Oh, don't worry she was well of age and sick, so it doesn't come as a surprise... yeah, I don't like it, but that is logical.

Hard at work for Ariena version 2.0 (no the recent topics are not for that, I just think ahead ), 11 banters added, all dependent on Ariena's Alignment, which can change (as some may know) 2 ways (or stay the same) thanks to her personal quest.

Under the tutelage of Cuv I am beginning to learn how to code the areas HERD made for the Bleak Academy, as I work along to get Ariena v2.0 out

Though perhaps slightly annoying for those who don't want the details of where everybody talks, but in the great MftW NPC overview topic you can see I am making progress on Ariena version 2.0.

Furthermore, I have decided to start and code the dialogs (and actually all other stuff) in a more convient way, as to limit the possibility of mod conflicts. This entails that I have to go over Kido again and rename a lot of the Globals and stuff. Adding MW in front of it all (which will indicate Mod for the Wicked stuff) and also more logic system in it than naming what happens in the conversation. This will mean that with Kido version 5.3 (yeah, I have it for my own... don't worry it is only three grammar thingies) is more like a version 6.0 as all globals with have changed... I know annoying, but it will cause the mod to have a higher chance to work with other ones. When I started I wasn't aware of all that stuff and I continue up untill now, but seeing I am getting further I need to think of such stuff as well.

Thus also for other modders, unless already claimed, I would like to use the letters MW for globals, areas etc.

And the usual problems. It is almost getting a thing to laugh at. As soon as I get really into this computers tend to break down around. Luckily all was saved on USB. Ariena version 2.0 project is still there... just with a slight delay (again) perhaps, as well I have currently no more laptop.

Yeah, I just noticed I only had an old file from PnP D&D campaign setting I am making (as mentioned here somewhere else I think) on the USB, which does set me back a bit... Only recovery from material from crashed disks is so freaking expensive I've heard.

Oh well, as said for you guys nothing was lost. I am simply working now in between breakes (the good thing of lab work) on Ariena version 2.0 from the USB stick itself...

There is actually a Kido Version 5.3 available, but unless you hate the three grammar errors I wouldn't download it. I am actually revising most of the globals (as said before) as well to make him more ready to incorporate in to the larger thing, while being able to still support stand alone.

Actually doing a lot of work behind the company comp and for two files I am finished... I just need a scroll with nothing special and to know of a character that is a female with a hood, and where I can place her in the Umar Hills. Than I can through it all together and... let someone else check if it installs and stuff... or me... if I get a new laptop

Need to upgrade my thesis paper to version 2.0 So in normal terms my teacher wants me to improve (a lot) on my thesis paper, so that has for a short moment priority.

I still don't have a notebook anyway, meaning that for the exception of two files Ariena version 2.0 is ready for testing... I am terribly sorry about being a modder without a comp of his own at the moment.
