At the moment learning to re-do an exam and thus only small things are all I can do.

Momentarily I'm bug squashing, removed errors with Anomen banter (though there still is a timer that needs to be done) and Minsc banter. Fixed some typos and added dagger paperdoll animation, which was apparently missing. Kido 1.3.2 will be out soon. But only differs in bug squashing

Now I haven't lost my monitor, the whole dawn windows has become fucked up. Might be down for a week or two. Will be here, but through other computers. So no modding stuff I'm afraid.

And it is true. Thought Corel photopaint is still down along with Windows Media Player the rest of the computer is working again fine

Working hard so I can finish my decemeber present for you guys and girls. Since December holds Christmas, Sinterklaas (Dutch holiday) and Newyear I thought I would try to finish something as a present. Any want to take a guess? And no I mean besides the interjections for Kido... For the date I am aiming at the weekend of the 14th of December.

I have a sad announcement to make. I couldn't finish my original intended surprise, which was supposed to be Ariena. She is a lot further in her development, but lacks voice, talks to the PC and her kit is being tested at the moment.

I settled for a less bigger surprise on an improved version of Kido, but alas there are some problems not yet solved.

His throwing dagger needed to be downgraded to four rounds of stunning and had one attack to many, this still needs work. It just takes longer than expected.

Also his interjection file won't traify yet, there is a small problem. I know where, but I can't fix it yet in a way I can keep the interjection up the way I wish.

And I'm redoing the sounds, but I'm very precise and I don't easily settle for a sound, thus it takes time.

A new list, as some might have seen I updated the former, but wit SConrad help, I should have nailed the problem of the Quayle interjection. :thumb: Jennifer is working on Ariena's kit. Therefor a new list (and more complete), which I will be updating somewhat frequently. New release date will be as soon as I stop thinking up extra material, the new dagger is ready and I've redone the sound files.

Some of these interjections involve intejections to another party member or go differently with another NPC in neigbourhood; i.e. Solaufein, Duel on Brynlaw, Xzar and more

Sounds

Sound files have been completly redone, some are deleted (in example the useless 'I've gone of out sight' (Kido will never hide)), some are replaced (i.e. 'Shall I play a tune' for a new one) and some are added (in important conversation with the PC)

Except for the: 'React to death' and 'critical miss' sound. Those were just to good and to hard to replace. They have been patched a bit to sound more bright. It isn't the same quality, but only a very picky person would notice I think.

Improved Dialogues

Kido will now go to another area, if not stopped, when kicked out the party

An little bit more than normal expanded talk, if you wish, if you let him (re)join (not just join us, though for the quick persons this is still possible)

Minor mistakes corrected in the Player-Kido dialogues & banters and added some extra dialogue & banter

Epilogue add-ons finished

Diana checked the grammar and removed a few mistakes. After the release of version 3 (I decided to name the updates in a new way) we have a break. I will be able to program Alpha Ariena and correct Kido parts, if you find anymore grammar mistakes or bugs)

Re-balanced Dagger

The dagger was indeed to strong even if it compensates for the hood. Now only four rounds of stunning and one extra attack lesser (it had a throwing dart's amount of extra attacks instead of a throwing dagger's amount of extra attacks)

The improved dagger is a bit improved however, though not yet available in this release.

Minor mistakes repaired

Kido was fearless by accident. This is not the power of the hood for people start to think that. He can have a morale break now, though it is harder to do so and he recovers faster than any other normale Bioware NPC (there are still monsters that are better though). How does one scare a madman, he?

... And a little surprise

A nice little surpirse awaits those, who take Kido into the high levels

Increased file size of Kido.zip from 2,56 MB to over 6,1 MB (zipped this is)

Thus a lot more personality and a lot more fun... I hope (you can handle Kido right?)

A nice little information. Kido will soon be included in the cros-mod banter pack. I'm working with Sillara of the Tamari on banters between Kido & Tsujatha and Kido & Kindrek and Kido & Yasreana.

I will be gone this week. Lot of bugs are corrected. All that I want to add is added. Thus, when I return I will send the files to two different persons so that they will upload and I'll pu the links on my site!!!!

[edit] Just to let you all know. I have reached one person, but he is not home for the week, thus cannot upload the files to that server.

And TheWizard and I have a timezone difference of 6 hours making it a bit difficult to meet one another, but I am positive it will be only a few days now.

A little revised history.

An appointment is being made to record Ariena's voice. A lady friend of my home has been casted. Let's hope she will be what I/we am/are looking for.

Opening dialogue and Kick out dialogue finished. Most of the banters finished.

Momentarily working on her dialogues with the PC and probably some interjections will come along as well with the first version.

Kit is being developped/tested -> [edit] Oh, can people react to the proposed change in the topic 'Ask Ariena', I would appreciate it.

I've recorded most of the voice tracks needed for an initial release. First have to tweak them and let the lest of the crew of MtfW listen to it. The lady-friends I have at home can not really do a real rude Half-orc, but then again Ariena has Aasimar blood. Well, we'll see.

Improving the banters and the talks with the PC along the way.

She talks! Very few interjections, but all those files are finished.

Still not doing the sounds... or kit... But! I am busy on her challenge. Scripting that is about 50% finished and I will continue to do more today.

Kido will be added to upcoming CMB-pack for Kido-Tsujatha banters and Kido-Searilith banter (yes only one as one will go away)
