I want to do a TC of BG2 SOA...

I've got quite a few thought up so will you tell me which one would fit in this world best?
Takul: A Hatian voiced Wizard Slayer/Druid (Dual classed human)
he's a very intellegent reserved man who doesnt talk much at all. He is very cheerful (not Alora cheerful by any meens though) and he is very polite.
Po Po:fast talking halfling assasin with a violent streak a mile wide. He is CE but he isnt unpleasant like so many CEs are. He has alot of innate illusion abilities too...
Regardless of his evilness... he has a thing for good girls... (maybe mazzy can drag him to CN or CG and romance him?)
Ise: Neutral good female ranger, a redhead and a firey one at that. Has a special tailored two handed sword with less weight and a speed factor of 5. Very proper unless she gets drunk.
Ox and Rice:
Ox is a CN sigilian Xaositect warrior with a penchant for unpredictable outbursts. Constantly believing people think little of his intellect. He is paranoid... he is however in a strange way reliable... oh and his weapon of choice is a quarterstaff
Rice is a cute bard. NG, with a mouth that'd make a sailor turn to salt. She is in love with Ox but she usually keeps him around for bodyguard work. She's from the city of Raven's Bluff and a champion game of masks player.
Edder:
Edder is a LG hardass Archer/cleric who uses a sling and dual hammers. He is VERY strictly lawful. If he was in SOA he would most likely go wait at the bar till you got back from all your dealings with the shadow thieves.
Does anyone like any of these or do they think that I would need to make up a new person for SOA

So I think they would fit in best.
The others are very good too because they are a little bit different from the "normal" SOA characters.

The Glory of Istar (Dragonlance TC): TC set in the Dragonlance setting (Krynn). As well as an entirely new (to the Infinity Engine) setting, spells, items, characters, etc it also adds & replaces many game features.
Tales of a Fallen Star: TC set in Cormyr. Featuring 3 cities, as well as various castles, caverns, villages, etc. There was once a reasonably large team working on the project but now there's only one person, so he'd definitely welcome assistance.
Tower of Iron Will: TC set in Icewind Dale, Calimshan and many places in between. Minto is doing practically everything himself, so I'm not sure if he'd welcome a collaborator or not.
Lands of Intrigue: Expansion to both SoA & ToB, adding many new locations, organizations and characters (including several new NPCs) from the lands of Amn, Tethyr, Erlkazar and Calimshan, as well as lots of new quests, kits, items, spells, etc. Will include a non-evil route to Spellhold. Oh, and the mod I'm involved with (hence the longer blurb )
Lost Crossroads: Expansion to SoA and ToB which adds and changes many, many spells, kits, items, monsters, etc. NPCs are probably the least focused on part of this mod, as its author, Galactygon, (in)famously dislikes new NPCs.
Neverending Journey Part 2: Expansion to SoA, set in Icewind Dale and featuring areas from the two IWD games as well as brand new ones. I believe the project co-ordinator, Vlad, would be more than happy to have someone else working on NPCs.
Nocturnal Supremacy: Expansion to SoA (and ToB?) featuring an extremely good (via the Radiant Heart) route to Spellhold, a Monk stronghold and a couple of new NPCs. Seifer seems to be working on it alone, and I'm not sure if he's up for collaborators or not.
Rebirth of the Drow: Expansion to SoA which aims to add a lot more Drow-related material to the game, including a new Drow NPC.
Region of Terror: Expansion to SoA, featuring new areas mostly set in Icewind Dale (boy that place seems to be popular! ). The mod apparently focuses heavily on Drizzt and his friends.
Saga: Expansion to SoA, featuring another route to Spellhold and several new NPCS. They've recently lost someone who was working on NPCs, so would certainly welcome another contributor.
South of Fortune: Expansion to SoA which, amongst other things, aims to make the game more pnp like. The project is apparently temporarily on hold because its author is busy in Real Life .
The Undying: Expansion to SoA and ToB revolving around a couple of new NPCs, a temple of Mystra and a mysterious enemy referred to simply as "The Undying One".
There are undoubtedly more, but those are all I have bookmarked.
Anyway, speaking for myself, I'd love to have someone working on the Calimshan area in the Lands of Intrigue team. Our currently focus is on Amn and Tethyr, so slotting in any Calimshite plans should be extremely easy.

Minto hasnt responded to me at all and I messaged him about something else a long time agoYou could always join an existing in-progress TC/expansion.

It looks it would be a pretty good mod to get involved with. A lot of the areas seem to be done (which is my least favourite thing to do) but the items, npc's, quests etc look like they are needed.
If i hear anything i'll let you know as your npc idea's seem pretty good to me!

I got a message from Baronius over at TeamBG and it seems that the Fallen Star TC is on hold for the forseeable future but he did mention that himself and Mindflayer (Sor) are putting together a modding team currently so if you're interested let him know and he should contact you when things start moving.
Otherwise see ya around!
