Hmm, I don't remember that ability, but if it IS there, I'll add it if possible. While reading the info about Marilithsin AD&D manual second edition, I've noticed they have a Spell Immunity ability. Do you intend to give such ability to them, TG ?

Yep, I've seen it. It does not specify though if it's a normal Spell Immunity for all schools of magic or just some of them.Hmm, I don't remember that ability, but if it IS there, I'll add it if possible. While reading the info about Marilithsin AD&D manual second edition, I've noticed they have a Spell Immunity ability. Here is the link :Where did you seen it Feanor? Please, provide me a link!
Balors and Marilith
Look at their special defenses line. It says, for Mariliths : "+2 weapons or better to hit, never surprised, spell immunity". It's not very clear what this "spell immunity" refers to, but, because in their description (half-page below) says "cannot be fooled by illusions and are immune to mind-affecting spells", I suspect it's an immunity to illusionist and enchantment schools.

True. What do you think, would it be possible to create a version of Telekinesis that allows you to push a creature in a direction of your choice instead of using the classical "wing Buffet" opcode?BP uses this extensively for the various demon types. It certainly adds difficulty to an encounter!

Bear in mind, also, that the effect always looks shit anyway. It's jerky when dragons use it, and this is amplified a million times when you try and do... anything at all, really.

Variations on the ol' push-pull can really mix things up
So we can summarize things so the best option is to keep it as a good-old "toss away from the source' Wing Buffet opcode with some delayed damage effect? In theory, you could spawn an invisible creature and have that do the pulling/pushing, but it probably wouldn't look too slick.

I guess it would be possible - to drag vulnerable ranged and spellcaster characters to melee sounds nice.can the marilith use telekinese to drag shooting/casting enemies towards them and melee them? that would be great

Exactly. We'll try to make later, once we come to the Creature Revisions part of the mod. That's more or less the BP tactic as well. Pull in magic/missle charactes, and fling away the melee ones. It can royally decimate a party in no time
A good idea, but right now I really wouldn't promise anything. We are full of work, and have way less time than before - we are proceeding slowly, but not at the pace we used to before the release of v1.and if you are at it, its a good way to beef flayers also
