The latter might be a possibility, albeit a faint one -- as for the first, you are obviously misinformed regarding Romanian libraries and their ordering programs.

khayman, you can buy the Salvatore Drizzt trilogy (the one which starts with "Thousand Orcs") in Hungary for a reasonable price (1000 Ft/book). I'd recommend visiting Budapest in the summer, you can find these (and almost every other similar books) at most corner. ;)

Hmm, depending on where he lives (In Transsylvania), it can vary between 350-600...

Vampires not only SAAAAAHK JOOR BLAAAAHD, but also your money around here. :P Well, to tell you the truth, the only way of getting books is Hungary, I`ve been well aware of that ever since I got my first Drizzt trilogy. My best friend was in Budapest a week ago, I gave him around 3000 Ft and a list of 10 RPG-based libraries, but he didn`t have the chance to visit any; he`s seen some Vampire books at Tesco, I think, but he wasn`t sure of buying them or not.

I don`t think I can afford a trip to Budapest (it`s a distance of around 5-600kms), so I`m going to wait 5-6 months until my friend goes there again (it`s a school trip or something) and maybe he`ll be able to buy them.

Sillara forgot Robert Jordan ;<

*shudder* Read a real book. Drizzt books are the written equivalent of a Swarzanegger movie. Entertaining, but not full of quality content.

Hehe, I'd have to agree with you there.

Born 1297DR, which makes him 75 years old ( I think we're up to 1373DR now)

Just a note on fantasy novels:

The older BattleTech novels (Esp. The Stackpole authored ones) are pretty good readings.
"What's wrong with being a trigger-happy, nationalistic, meat-eatin' neo-con who likes to shoot things, shoot 'em dead?"
-Me

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived."
- General George S. Patton

If I remember correctly, Salvatore did kill Drizzt, or at least he was 'defeated' unfortunately I don't remember what the details were... All of the others were killed off however, I have the book where they die, however at first mention of it I shut the book and tossed it across the room... Course I will say I only liked the Dark Elf Trilogy very well, some of the others were alright, but hardly class material... And stuff..

Meh

I like the Drizzt books up to Exile. After that, I got bored. IceWind Dale Trilogy was alright, but I had more fun reading on the halfling than on Drizzt himself. And I dislike Catti-brit myself.

Same here, but Salvatore decided to make him a heroe too, in the latest books
