Doomguard. Your faction believes that Entropy is the ultimate goal of the universe, so why not help it along? Destruction is sublime.

Hmm, not what I was expecting, I always imgined if I belonged to an faction in Sigil it would be the Sensates, though actively trying to prove the fraudulence of planescape gods would probably provide lots of sensations.. like .. oh, so this is what it's like to become a small pile of glowing dust .. for instance

Athar, here. Don't really think it's very accurate, as I myself strongly believe that the Gods exist. Not specifcally the D&D Gods, but Gods nonetheless. On the other hand, I do think that this applies to me as far as "God" him/herself is concerned.

The Athar aren't without belief. They believe in something great, divine, benevolent and worthy of worship - the 'Great Unknown' metadeity that they are sure must exist. They also believe in the *existence* of the Gods, they simply don't see them worthy of worship and not 'divine' in the least. They are, in a way, a kind of monotheistic faction in a polytheistic multiverse.
