Yep, you sure can. Take whatever pics you like and rename them:
Large pic - tashiaL.bmp
Small pic - tashiaS.bmp
Place both of the pics in your BGII override folder. (If you want to preserve the old Tashia pics, go into the override folder and rename them to something else that you can remember before you put the new ones in.)
Otherwise, just put the new pics in the folder and overwrite the old ones. The new ones should show up in-game. B) I'm not one hundred percent sure if this works in a game where you've already met Tashia. The portrait choice might already be in the save game. Try it and see what happens.

aren't those files for the saves saved seperately in the savegame dir ? if so you can still change them pretty easily...

All NPC character pics are stored in override unless they are part of a BIF file.
Only the internal reference (pointer) to the pic is part of baldur.gam.

Easiest way to change a picture of a NPC is via ShadowKeeper.
BTW, Tashia's default portrait is really hideous! She appears to have a neck long as her arm!

Look better, that's not her neck... it's her cleavage!
(Is the long hair that gives the strange effect... and she's somewhat lacking in the breast area... but I guess that elves are supposed to be like that)

Assuming you're using Internet Explorer, have you tried right-clicking on the picture and choosing 'Save Picture As..."?I like alustriels avatar pic.

i have over 20 meg worth of portraits i downloaded from lady nightshade before she went "poof", and as all of you in the community know, she had absolutely the best portraits ever, and tashia's default portrait is better than almost all of them...i initially downloaded her just cause she is so pretty...

BTW in Tasha file it uses TashaM not TashaL.bmp. So TashaL will not replace TashaM, unless you rename it.
