My answer would have to be "the nature of a man". That encompasses the belief argument and also contains all those little things that change you without you ever noticing...

Oddly enough I've tried that, just add a few shots of teqila and vodka and it still didn't work, I just felt very happy until I had a bottle of what ever it was and I was alergic to the flavorings in it and you can guess the rest I'm sure

Interesting about that cut dialogue with Yves...
I always assumed 'regret' or 'belief' were the things you were 'meant' to say - since belief is a force of change in the Planes, and it is at the Fortress of Regret that you end up.
