That screenshot is an example of "thick talk", speech for the less thinking inclined. If you character is dumb enough not only will you be missing most of the chat options, but you won't be able to speak properly and some characters may not understand you or refuse to talk to someone who dribbles while conversing.

question: in the first screenshot, how did you get Anomen to Turn Undead when he is not a member of the party?
