I know I'm a complete idiot when in comes to the technical aspects of gaming, modding ect.. but I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

As some of you know, I recently created some new Coran portraits and I'd really like to try them out in BG1 but I have no idea how to do it. I can use this portrait as my PC (which is what I did to test it) but that's about the extent of my knowledge on how to tweek the game. Other than adding PC sound sets that is.

If someone could walk me through this process, I would really appreciate it!

As far as I know, all you do is create the three versions of the portrait (210x330, 110x170, 38x60), give them the right names (in this case CORANL, CORANM, CORANS), and place them in your 'override' directory.

Oh, and make sure they're saved as .bmps

Thanks Domi. I all ready figured out that you didn't need the big one so I changed them accordingly and yeah! They work! (thanks again nightmare)

I haven't installed TUTU yet but I think I will that now.

well, once you install TUTU, you can install BG1NPC on top of it and simply say "yes" to the option "install Coran's new portrait by Melisah"

REALLY!!!!! WOW!!!!! SO COOL!!!!

I tried to install Tutu but it's not working for me for some reason. I posted over on the Tutu threads so hopefull someone will be able to help me out.

Now I really want to play it!!!!
