Name: Melyanna Laelithar
HT: 6'1" (or tallest possible for race; abnormally tall)

5' is average for an elven female, 5'6" would be tall. It might be possible for an elven female to reach 6'1", but it's about as probable as Tsujatha's 6'6".

Abilities: CON and DEX would be highest, followed by WIS and DEX.

She's so dextous that it has to be mentioned twice! The second is probably strength. I might be mistaken, but I believe that PnP monks get their bonuses from having a high wisdom, not constitution, so you may want to consider a) looking it up to make sure I'm not wrong, and b) switching the scores.

Name: Mala Shrenan
Race: Gnome (Whisper), female
Class: Rogue or Ranger
AL: NG
Patron: ?

HT: 3'9"
WT: 35
Hair: dark reddish brown
Eyes: gray eyes
Skin: ruddy

Home: Thesk

Abilities: DEX should be highest, followed by CON. STR is lowest.

Carries a kukri, punching dagger, and light crossbow. Wears studded leather. Smooth-talker, good at bluffing and sleight-of-hand. Perceptive. Mala is an expert in information-gathering, espionage, etc., so class/kit should accommodate that. She's well able in academia, agility, athletics, perception, robbery, stealth, social skills, and theatrics.

Working and playing on a Mac Pro 6,1 running Mac OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra, and a Mac Pro 3,1 running Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan.

Good for a chuckle, ha! :) Yes, I meant followed by WIS and STR. That's as-written, but you have a good point about high WIS, so it makes sense to give that second priority to DEX.

HT: 5'4"
WT: 92

Yasheira was taken from her home by slavers and sold. Class: trueclass bard
Alignment: neutral good

Beneath Corwin's merry facade lurks a cunning mind. He joins the PC on Galvarey's orders, intending to spy on the protagonist in order to learn their nature as a Bhaalspawn. But if the PC demonstrates that they are capable of good, he may side them when the time comes to choose. Through either a friendship or a romance, he would begin to trust the PC, and if/when the group's reputation reached 20, he would finally confess why he joined their group. By then, he would have realized that the PC was clearly a far better person than he had been led to believe, and he would then side with them over Galvarey. To avoid potential problems, he would leave the group after the first Harper quest started, rejoining after Galvarey's "interview."

Corwin is a well-educated young man in his early twenties. He prefers bawdy or humorous songs and tales of cleverness and trickery, and plays the mandolin. He tends to fail miserably with sleight-of-hand tricks, although he enjoys composing songs. He occasionally prays to Milil, but as both Harper and adventurer, his allegiance is given to Tymora. He tends to be cheerful and optimistic.

He favors flashy Illusion and Conjuration magics, and is a fair shot with a short bow.

Name: Finnauriel (or Fionna)
Race: Elf (Moon)
Class: Cleric
AL: NG
Patron: Naralis Analor

HT: 5'6"
WT: 120
Hair: auburn
Eyes: gray
Skin: alabaster, with blue accents around ears and chin (typical Moon Elf coloration)

Home: Evereska

Abilities: WIS would be highest, followed by STR, CHA, CON and DEX, and INT, in that order.

Carries a heavy war mace (possibly Disruption, possibly ignores any armor that's not natural), a wooden short spear, composite shortbow or light crossbow, and should also own a Sun Blade at some point. Wears a steel breastplate, and any of the following: a cloak that grants magic resistance, an amulet that increases WIS, gauntlets of DEX, ring of regeneration, ring of protection, belt of giant STR, boots of speed. She wears her holy symbol, and plays a bone flute. She is a joyless Elf, for the most part, and enjoys playing dirges, singing ballads of fallen Elf heroes, and reciting Elven odes and epic tales that are always tragic. This character obsesses over cleaning her clothing (gray and white robes and hooded cloaks), her gear, and any ally's gear, if she's not made to keep her hands off. She always feels that she can't get fully clean, a quirk she acquired sometime after becoming an undead hunter. Many people respond to her in much the way they might respond to someone like Xan, but where he's all about the doom and futility, she's more about death and afterlife. She follows all the rites and requirements of a priestess of her patron deity.

Finnauriel is most highly experienced with concentrating, deciphering script, handling animals, listening, riding, searching, sensing people's motives, spell lore, spotting, surviving in mountainous areas, using magic devices, using ropes, and undead lore. She has dedicated her existence to seeking and destroying vampires, but will also aggressively go after any and all other undead. Elves view undead as the abominations and mockeries of life that they are, and this offends Elves deeply. Finnauriel feels this very acutely in herself. Perhaps, under the right circumstances, she can learn to be more expressive. She's educated, mentally disciplined, and has a fine intuitive sense.

Working and playing on a Mac Pro 6,1 running Mac OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra, and a Mac Pro 3,1 running Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan.

Eric P: Your characters have some, uh, odd stuff not too mention a lot of weapons and items. It'd probably be better to put actual stats than to have us know their highest and lowest For all we know, highest could be 14.

In any case, this is an idea that's probably a bit.. impossible?

Taf'ka:
Gender: Female
Race: Gnoll
Class: Archer (Gnolls are capable of being Rangers)
Stats:
Strength: 16
Dex: 19
Con: 18
Wis: 12
Int: 9
Chr: 10

Total: 83

Halberd +
Shortbow +++
Axe +
Single Weapon +
Dual Wield ++

Racial Enemy: Dragon

Alignment: Chaotic Good

As a former follower of Yeenoghu, Taf'ka lived a simple, brutal life. That was until she ventured out on her own and discovered an odd potential for natural magic and archery. Unsure of the god that it came from, she practiced this curative capacity to her limited knowledge. That is, until she was discovered for her treason to her god.

Taf'ka can be found in Firkragg's dungeon in one of the many places that prisoners and soon to be meals could possibly be.

For the most part, her interactions with others is one of confusion for their ways and they of hers. Her worst enemy is likely Minsc... unless they can learn to become odd friends... maybe more?

Speaking about more than friends, Taf'ka can romance males or females if they're human, Half-Orc, or Dwarf, finding their more stature better her tastes.

I hesitate to list the ability scores because many people feel that my characters are overpowered on those details alone. My dice-rolling method was very different when I played 2E rules, because I used a different number of dice for rolling each score, following an article in an old issue of Dragon Magazine. Even with my current method (4d6, drop the lowest die), I reject any ability score below 12 when writing a character, but that's just me ;) Plus, I've long since translated all my characters into 3.5e rules, under which every character gets a point to add to any ability score at every fourth character level. So, I'd have to adjust things back to a 2nd edition standard. As my posts are ideas that others can modify to their liking, I instead give an idea of relative strengths and weaknesses (?) when it comes to ability scores.

As for special gear, well, all the characters are seasoned veterans, so it's reasonable to assume that they've acquired and/or purchased some really nice items. If someone wants to make one of these characters into a mod NPC (preferably joinable), it would be up to his or her preference in how to outfit the character :)

"And that's all I have to say about that"
Thanks,

Heh, not every character, as I've had several in the past that are no longer in my collection. Those I've posted are what I consider the most interesting in my character sheet binders, except for those I don't think can be represented in the game. I haven't included any first-level characters, I don't think, since BGII isn't typically begun with anything below seventh.

Cheers,
Eric

Name: Syrë
Gender: Female
Race: Sirine
Class: Sirine Bard

Kit advantages: can cast Charm Person 1x/day at level 1; can cast Dominate Person 1x/day at level 10. Receives Confusion, Nature's Beauty, Power Word:Kill, Power Word:Stun, Wail of the Banshee, Horror, Enhanced Bardsong, Power Word:Blind, and Chaos as HLAs instead of the typical bard abilities. Gains +1 to charisma at level 10 and another +1 at level 16.
Disadvantages: -4 to max constitution, -2 to max strength; gains only 5 points of lore per level.

Alignment: True neutral

Str: 10
Dex: 16
Con: 10
Int: 14
Wis: 8
Chr: 18

Syrë is first and foremost a singer. She cares for neither good nor evil, but is focused on her music to the point of complete obsession. (Hmm, what happens if she gets a cold...) She is vain and distant, caring little for others unless they share her love of music. As a result of her heritage, she has a profound love for nature, and for the sea in particular.

For this reason, she gets on well with Haer'Dalis and Cernd, and to a lesser degree with Valygar, Aerie, and Jaheira. She joins the PC simply to experience more of life, consequently granting her more to draw upon in her songs. She thoroughly dislikes Korgan due to his utter lack of culture, and doesn't really understand Anomen, Nalia, Mazzy or Minsc. She understands the appreciation that Viconia and Edwin have for the finer things in life, but finds their desire for power rather tiresome. She respects Yoshimo for his seeming independence and freedom. She respects what she sees as strength of character in Imoen and Keldorn.

Appearance-wise, Syrë has distinctive bluish skin and silvery-blue hair, and is slender and fairly short.

I really, really like this character, Ipsy.

Though if you're open to suggestions, I think she might get along well with Minsc too. Minsc loves nature and pretty women (i.e. his inability to accept that Viconia was evil or didn't like him because of her looks), and his own simplicity and oddities seem to make him far less susceptible to prejudice than most people. Other than his dislike for gnolls and vampires of course, but you know what I mean.

Gah, I hadn't thought about that. But she wouldn't understand Minsc's desire to help people that he hardly knew - same with Nalia and Mazzy, and to a point Aerie. To her, wanting to help people isn't a task or quest; rather, it's a completely alien mindset. Though, vain thing she is, she would probably appreciate whatever Minsc told her.

Edit: found an appropriate portrait earlier. I think it was on BWL's Portrait City.

Keep in mind that NPC relationships don't have to be reciprocal. She isn't obligated to like someone just because he likes her. Especially if she considers him brain damaged. Many people would consider it a flaw to intentionally bait, mock, and otherwise belittle an NPC that genuinely seems to like her, but flaws add interest to a character. Mind you, she might come off as a bit Sueish if it's too obvious or if other NPCs don't do the same with her.

The portrait is great, but it makes her look a bit masculine. Not that that's a drawback! It's refreshing to see an NPC that doesn't adhere strictly to the standards of beauty set by his/her society.

I think it's from the male portraits section, so that would explain a lot :)

The name reminds me of the protagonist in The Bloody Sun, a Darkover novel by Marion Zimmer Bradley (started to read it long ago, never finished).

Corwin is the name of the protagonist of Roger Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber novels, although the two characters have nothing in common save the song composing.

IIRC, 13 or 14 is the minimum for a trueclass bard. I thought any higher than 15 would be a tad much for a jack-of-all-trades. If he were, say, a thief/mage instead, I would agree though. On second thoughts, thief/mage would be a decent alternate class, but the music is significant enough for Corwin that bard is better-suited anyway.

I hope someone will take this idea and develop it!

I'd also definitely be interested in seeing the character further developed.

Name: Voddryn
Race: Human
Class: Sorcerer
Alignment: Chaotic evil

Strength: 10
Dexterity: 12
Constitution: 14
Intelligence: 18
Wisdom: 8
Charisma: 12

Voddryn is supremely arrogant, and intelligent by anyone's standards - his own included. He is nearly a century old, sustained by his natural magical ability and closeness to the Weave. His magical talent is prodigious, but only a fragment of what it was. A decade ago, he attempted to bind a glabrezu to his service. The demon broke its binding, but apparently found Voddryn entertaining enough to leave him alive - or simply not worth the effort of killing. It somehow weakened the sorcerer's power, and informed him that, if he truly wished to bind a demon, he should learn to do so first. Rather than doing as the beast had suggested, Voddryn began researching summonings, bindings, and powerful spells that might return him to his former ability.

When the party meets him, he is in the Athkatla jail, imprisoned on charges of kidnapping and murder. He had been kidnapping people for use in his research, although the Amnian guard and Cowled Wizards are unaware of his purpose. He can be freed for a fee and an agreement that he be kept in check - so if the party's reputation is too low, he will be tracked down and imprisoned again.

If the PC is sufficiently influential, Voddryn may describe his quest for lichdom, which he sees as his final opportunity for ultimate power. It's possible that he would attempt to transform himself into a lich while with the party, leading them on a quest for rare spell components and the like, which would be scattered across Amn.

Voddryn has little to say to most characters. After his previous failure and eventual capture, he tends to be evasive at best, unless he feels that someone might be of use. He sees Edwin as a rival, Viconia as a potential danger, Korgan as a bloodthirsty fool, and Sarevok as just another reason to be wary of the PC.

Combined with low WIS, this could be cause for some interesting--even amusing--situations :) When other party members realize this one's tendencies, they might want to adopt the strategy of "Let the Wookie win."
