Was looking in this forum for a fix to the character animation while regenerating, but cannot find it here.

Also, I did not even think that other creatures may use the same paws! Does this mean I will have bears in my game that have a magical to-hit? Or regenerating bears?

I modded the file BRBRP.Itm - should I have created a new file instead?

Okay, sorry if this is the wrong place for this TGM.

I created 2 new items, a greater and lesser werewolf paw. I plan on waiting for the refinements mod for a complete fix to the shapeshifter, but I just wanted to play one with the paws a bit more on line. Lesser werewolf does 1d8 slashing, and can hit +1 creatures. Greater does 2d8, hits +3, and immune to normal weapons. I still cannot get regenerate to work correctly, still makes my character animation glitch. Tried it on the weapon, and on the spell effects.

I did not think that immunity to normal weapons is that big a deal at the level you get greater werewolf (but think it is with lesser werewolf). 750,000 exp will put you well into the game, and most creatures that can really hurt you, hit as magic weapons anyway (read: vampires and golems!). Most quests with normal monsters should be completed well before a druid is level 13. That regenerate is ticking me off though.

Can't wait for the refinements mod, sounds awesome. Not talking in werewof form is a good thing. It always bothered me having someone refer to my character as "My lady" when she is a 7 foot monster. Or Anomen romancing her, jeez, this ain't a farm Anomen...

We are currently in the beta-testing phase, so you don't have to wait too long for the mod to come out. ;)
Our shapeshifting fix works absolutely nice, it adds all the required effects to all shapeshifted forms, without that infamous glitch. It seems to work pretty well.

Wait, you're talking about different things.
We've done nothing about the animation glitch, I don't even know if it's fixable.

Are the "normal" shapeshifting forms currently under testing, too?
Shapeshifters have a peculiar fix, for all the rest of druids I used a VERY different version of the fix.
I think Caedwyr only tested a shapeshifter, so far. (?)

Ever forward, my darling wind...

It isn't fixable, since it a game engine flaw.
Yet it can be made less visible. As I remember, you were doing something like that back then, right?

Intresting. I wonder what causes that glitch. Possibly because the animation "resets" because of a change in any character state, to include hit points? I am sure it is just more apparent in the werewolf form, because it has such large movements. I just never noticed it with any other character. Man thius mod sounds nice, I can't wait. I would have done some things differently from what I read about it, but, hey, if I can't do it myself, don't complain about the product, right? Great stuff guys.
