The final battle to Irenicus in Hell everyone will have something to say (ex. Minsc: "...Evil, meet my swoed. Sword, meet evil!"). Tashia said nothing.

I love playing riddle and flirting with Tashia but this kind of dialogue are disappeared in TOB.

Tashia in her recent form is indeed a bit limited in her dialogue, especially in ToB. If you'd read the most recent posts on this forum, you'd know that she will be updated and expanded in the (hopefully) near future.

Yep, all the proffered updates (except for extra riddles and flirts in ToB) are put up, so she will definitely have something to say. It's just that the coder who offered to do it has disappeared, so Camdawg will take a look at things...after we finish with Del. I know the writing for her will be done in April.

"I read about the evils of drinking, so I gave it up." "You gave up drinking?" "No, I gave up reading..."

I have much of Bri's posted dialogs into my BG2 strings (dear god, that took awhile). I've got many of them in my own dialog files (a second eternity. ;) ). And have a few of them scripted into the actual game.

However, I didn't do this with WEIDU, I am comfy with a battery of editors from TeamBG, NearInfinity, and Shadowkeeper. I never intended to export the dialogs. Not sure I even can.

Wow, that is a lot of material. Realize once we get to Tashia we will be cleaning up much of it. I think that I will be removing most of the non-essential descriptions though.

I mean, rather than using: Tashia says, "Blah", Tashia will just directly say that.

There are actually descriptions, like that still in there? It's been quite a while since I played but I don't recall.

Definitely not. A .d file converted from a dlg file will miss all the spiffy INTERJECTs, CHAINs, and ever-popular COPY_TRANS needed to make it play nicely with others.

Don't be intimidated by WeiDU! Most folks look at the readme and run away. It's an incredibly powerful tool and though the learning curve may be steeper than other tools, it's a lot easier than the combo of tools you've probably used so far.

Why is this Hypnotoad video so popu... ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.
