Allright, I need a bit of Technical help. I have been workign on the Lovetalks for Juna, but have twice had it not save on me. I am using the GUI version of WeiDU, so it is not "offecial". However, it is frustrating to have your work lost like this. Here is some other data:

Size of the .d at the moment: 68k
Computer specs: 1.2 geg processer, 128 meg ram, 32 meg vidio (I doubt any of this matters...)
OS: Win 2000 pro. I have programming soft where (A C compiler etc) on it. Again, just thinking what might possibly cause this.

I am in no way flameing Wes or WEIDU, which seems to be a potent tool. I am simply confused.

Looking at it, it is ONLY that file which does this, too.

It used to happen to me as well, because I was closing it, expecting it to come up with a box asking to save. I decided to do everything in Wordpad afterwards, so I recommend you do so too, or at least use another program to do the WeIDUing. The only thing I use the GUI now is whenever I need a new .d file, as when I rename a file, it is renamed to something like this;

Untitled.d.txt

It's not even clear what GUI you guys are talking about, as there are multiple. We need more information if we're gonna be able to say anything meaningful about it.

This is about all it say's in my readme file. Adn I am NOT just closing it. I am going to save, once even save as, but it does not save the file.

Sorry, my first piece of advice for people having trouble with the GUI is "stop using it."

It's really best to prototype mods with a .tp2 anyway because you can take advantage of uninstall.

Ouch. Unfortunately, I have no idea what is up with the GUI. Consider sending an email bug report to the author.

Until then, I suggest that you either:

(1) hit save 'five times' every time you want to save
(2) use ConTEXT instead (follow links from main site, use neato syntax highlighting)
(3) use wordpad instead

Since WeiDU itself only cares about the text files, you have the freedom to use whatever front-end you like. Look around and find one that isn't too buggy.

I was more worried that it might have been a thing in Weidu itself: IE it was too big a file. It saved fine before this point. So if that is the case, I can as easily use word pad.

WeiDU may complain if your D, TP2 or TRA file exceeds 16 megabytes.

If it does, you will see an obvious message like "file [foo] is too big for WeiDU".

ok, thanks wes. It is Nothing near that size, only a small 68k. So It is obviously something with the GUI, and I can just as easily use wordpad...typeing is typeing.

I'll second Wes's suggestion to grab the ConTEXT editor. Syntax highlighting is a very useful thing to have around.
