Hi all,

I just picked up Chloe and have found what might be a glitch in her. After I had her join up w/my party I went to her inventory...

She comes with two swords, one in her left hand already and one in her inventory. Thing is, NEITHER of them appear to work. I can't get the one in her inventory to her main hand (Sez "cannot use this item") and when I took the one out of her left IT wouldn't go back either! - also Both are shaded like the "Unusable items for class" type things.

I DID (briefly) go in with IEEP and PUT the right sword in her right hand, but it didn't show on the screen so I went back and changed it.

Is this a glitch? Can she USE her swords?

It's bugging me.

It sounds like something is messed up with your installation...
Do you have any other mods installed ?

You could try to talk to Chloe (press "F1" and click on her) and tell her "she looks strange", that''s her 'self-fix script' and maybe solves your problems.

Edit: Just a question... are you Minotaur from the Gamebanshee forums ? I think I answered one of your questions there, too (if you are the same Minotaur ). I'm registered as 'Numinor' there

Try dropping the weapons on the ground. Fixed versions will automatically spawn on her and then you should be able to equip them. Otherwise, the only way I can think of that you wouldn't be able to equip them is if her kit did not properly install. If that is the case, then you need to reinstall.

I reinstalled CHLOE (And changed her portrait while I was at it) and now she is working fine.

Yep, I'm having the same trouble...
I have a fresh install of SoA and ToB with Chloe and a few other mods. Chloe had no problems with her weapons till she leveled up to lvl 10. At that point her scimitar and short sword went into her backpack and were shaded red; unusable. I put them on the ground, and talked to her, telling her she looked strange. Then she picked up her weapons and they were still unusable. I reinstalled Chloe and got the same result.

Puhleez help, the weapons I've given her until this can be fixed are not as good as her own.

Well, if anyone's interested, I noticed that Chloe lost her Kensai kit when going up to lvl 10, so I just ShadowKeepered her back her kit, and it all worked fine again.
