yup, I know, but he already got a 18 Cha, so he doesn't need it.

Plus, I have problems with the nature/nuture bit. I want Dante to be a pious, sweet person because he has that kind of a soul/mindset, not because he had a deva or whatnot for a great-great-great granddaddy.

Indeed, theres a lot more to be said for the way a person is raised, his heritige and genetics will only affect the way he percieves the lessons he is taught throughout life.

Ulimately, there should be no real reason that a really good human being should be any less good than an aasimar.

cool cool, I see what you're saying as in a person who has chosen the path of goodness/kindness rather than being born good. ^_^

not too sure about assimars but are they uncorruptable? So that's why they may spoil the story anyway

*nod* and considering that Dante is a commoner, and only a few adventurers in the family line, what odds are there for there to be a celestial to take interest in an ancestor of his?

To express how little I care about his heritage, I shall give this following little snipet that would take place had Dante actually been an aasimar.

Dante: "I'm an aasimar."

Me: "Ass-of-a-what?"

*Chuckled* *Viconia voice* Then go do it, you worthless little revvil.

well, seriously, until I get a page and forum up, I have to make due with this little area.

@assimars-- Not familiar with the supernatural entities of the FR or their human hybrid offspring...but I will do some research on the subject.
@nurture vs. nature: I think a person's upbringing accounts for the large majority of their upbringing, but I do believe in a thing called 'genetic evil' though.

pffft, I was really bothered to go to the first page

HAHAHAHA!!! You're killing me here dude!!!

*Viconia voice* Then go do it, you worthless little revvil.

  Sounds like an order to me G.M.! Chop-chop!

@Felstorm: I think they are HARD to corrupt, not incorruptible.

The idea of incorruptibility is a valid one, but it all hinges on the definition of corruption.
Back on track:

I have to make due with this little area.

You know the routine. When this thread fills up just make another called "Dante part II" or something.
@Update, getting fallen status: I was wondering if it would be the result of some dialoge/quest options(kind of like Anomen's) and/or the party's reputation. No reply is necessary though, if it will spoil any suprises. ;)
I'm giving serious thought to seeing what a party with 3 paladins in it is like. Been house cleaning time with PC & Keldorn so far(end game SoA- Irenicus and company dropped real quick like). I should give the cavalier kit a try, but I'll miss my bow and arrows... :(
Be looking forward to the newest addition to the paladinhood.
Good job and good luck! :D

Gotcha. I never knew if the party's rep would cause an NPC paladin to fall. Never had a loss in rep points...Glad the designers didn't make it so for LG PC's dealing in stolen property!
@ :lock: No, I'm used to it. Comes up quite a bit in conversations around here.

Cool, cool, nice, nice...Nice selection of choices. The straight and narrow path being strewn with obstacles and all.

the whole "No witness" thing bug the hell out of me with BG2 -- but Virtue is still too buggy for me to considering d/ling.

Perhaps I can talk with Kish about implementing something to warn the PC after killing 1 neutral NPC, and then leave after the second one is skilled.

Nice logic... so what bugs are worrying you, if you haven't downloaded it yet? The ones I've fixed, or the ones nobody's told me about? :)

The ones I read about in the FWP posts about losing virtue doing some of the good options in quests -- for example the good option for Edwin's tasks before he joins and giving the girl money.
