Since the novel is directly connected to the mod I may as well post the news of updates here (while it lasts - the mod is being coded with astonishing speed now).
Ashes got chapter 36. It can be found at
http://www.onlinefic...Ashes_ch36.html
Freedom cannot be equated with goodness, virtue, or perfection. Freedom has its own unique self-contained nature; freedom is freedom ? not universal goodness. Any confusion or deliberate equalization of freedom with goodness and excellence is in itself negation of freedom, and acceptance of the path of restraint and enforcement.

As he dragged his stumbling feet back to the temple, all he could think of was what will happen to Dustan if he, Chyil, succumbs to poison before
it should read "succumbed to the poison before"

Great story. I like your style with interwoven explanations and everything that sets the reader into pespective, it puts the published novels to shame.
Thank you - I try my best to accomodate the FR lore, and verify every fact before I dare to put it in... Hopefully BGA has an inner logic of sorts... and does a decent job of 'blending' the Baldurs Gate reality with FR 'proper'. It is not always easy.

Thank you Cae - I am currently working on spellchecking/revising both 36/37 and writing 38. Every bit of input is priceless.

Heh, my theory on what's going on anyway, I reckon Jon and Mirri musta had sex, since both wanted it as much as each other anyway, so she can't be crying about that - it's all an act!
Hehe, great stuff dorotea.. am I right in my theory?

Unfortunately it is not so. Jon has had another one of his 'I want you, I want you not' spells, this time made worse by his recent situation with the elves.
I promise not to linger with the next chapter. But guys! I cannot do it all - I need to finish writing LR dialogs as well... not to mention code it all.
