Imoen, for her flightyness, isn't one to back down from her path. She's pretty bullheaded and stubborn.

Imoen is flighty?
I'll disagree there. She's pretty goddamn loyal and doesn't really have emotional freakouts or mood swings or take off on some strange 'need my space' journey as you'd expect from someone who's flighty.
But I agree with you. Apart from her initial interest in sex (when she was younger, sneaking to read the tantric sex tome as told to Anomen) most of her dialogues that have anything to do with sex start with "EEEEWWWWWW!" (although, she must have a rather ...inquisitive brain to imagine some of the situations that she says ewww to....)
I also don't think Imoen would jump into bed with you in the timespan of the game... for anything other than a comforting hug-snuggle (nightmares, you understand
) but I do think she would thrive from some mushy TLC.

*contemplates* Hrm...perhaps flighty was the incorrect word to use. Imoen is...carefree, fun loving, somewhat random, and most definitely cheerful. Or at least, she was in
BG1. And, I believe that she steadily recovers over the course of the game (She seems better in
TOB), and so, once all is said and done and the adventure is over, I see her returning to her ways once again - a little wiser, a little more worldy, but...well....Heya, it's just me, Imoen!
She does not strike me as the type of woman who lets one or two gigantic things crush her underneath piles of angst. She's a fighter, she's got that efervesant warrior spirit that lets her keep going.
Perhaps flighty was wrong. But she SEEMS flighty, random, so on so forth. In reality, as I said above, I see her as the type who is what they is and that's all that they is. She's the eternal child, and I believe she is a good example of "Enlightened Innocence."
You know, looking back at what I just wrote, it really has jack diddly squat to do with the topic. Heh. Time to click Rep-
