@Greenhorn thanks for the advice! I'll try again with my next installation, but...
I realized some components I wanted did not install - thanks for the list of mods that were not installed, really helpful if read
However I can't figure out why they are left out - yeees, not essential ones, but they do add a little fun to the game:
1 - Baldur's Gate Romantic Encounters
2 - Banter Pack
3 - Mazzy Friendship
4 - NPC Flirt Pack
5 - Jan's Extended Quest
I can see in the BiG World Debug that initially there are fixes and compatibility patches for some of the mods. However, no installation of the actual mods takes place? In the BGII - SoA debug folder there is also no setup-xxx.DEBUG file, so I assume it really does not get called.
These all are available in English according to the documentation, so they were not filtered by language.
My other settings should not have filtered them either I think:
Quests: large, medium and small; difficulty: hard
NPCs: new introduced, continuing, only
SoA/
ToB content, only voiced
NPCBanter, One-Day-NPCs, Companions
Items and Spells: easy, standard and overpowered
Corrections and Restaurations, Cosmetic Changes
Kit mods, Script mods, Graphic mods, Portrait mods
Tactic mods: hard challenge
Tweaks: Items Spells Kits Gameplay AI
XP HLA
PnP IWD Rule Convenience Misc
Strength for tweaks: standard
including: fun mods, adult content, incongruous mods
also including: mods for experienced players, buggy mods, beta versions
top and high and mid and not and low rated mods
How do I find out why they were left out?
EDIT: I found my mistake, wrong selection "only voiced NPCBanter". However, now CtB didn't install anymore... no debug file either, just a copy of the exe without extension in the debug folder
