I haven't done this in a while, so i'm not sure if this is the correct place or not.

To get into it, i'm looking for a copy of TS25 MiniMod in pretty much any language, except Japanese. I've had a copy of the mod for a really long time, but i have never been able to play it. The only copy i have is in Japanese and Google Translate gets weird when i try to translate Japanese characters. I really don't know if what it says is accurate or not. Again, i'm looking for TS25 MiniMod in any language other then Japanese. Thank you in advance.

I don't think there is one. All I could find are references and (non-working) links to version 2 of the mod which is only available in Japanese.

I haven't used Google Translate for a long time since it always produced inaccurate results in the past. DeepL usually provides better translation quality. But even that doesn't always guarantee correct results.

Argent77 i thank you for your response. When i install mods in BG2 i use the Big World English version for the install order and i always see TS25 listed, and it says Japanese. I think that someone did translate the mod at one point, i just can't remember who. Well, i'll let this run for a while and maybe lightning will strike.

There is a german localization in BiG World Fixpack v20.0.1, it seems...

prozh i assume you mean in the Appendix, where the links for mods are kept. I don't have the BW Fixpack in German and unfortunately i don't have the English BW Fixpack in PDF format.

However, your comment jogged my memory. At one point there was the Big World Link List. My copy of it was downloaded in 2018, but unfortunately it does not have the link to TS25. It has got me to wonder if that list still exists somewhere, perhaps on Kerzenburg, if it still exists, or the Baldur's Gate Forum (German). I tried the German forum and proceeded to get lost, i'm sure it was me, not their forum.

Either way, i now have 2 responses, perhaps there will be more. Thank you for your comment.

Sorry prozh, but i get, LINK NOT FOUND. There are some others listed, but they all come back to SHS, and they are for specific files, but not a download file. Nice effort though.

Did you not say in your opening post that you already have the Japanese version of TS25 Minimod? The LINK NOT FOUND link is for the Japanese version I think.

Samriel that is what i said. My request is for any copy of the mod in a language that is not Japanese. I have received one or two comments that have offered links to the mod, except those links lead no-where. I would like to have a link to TS25 in a language other then Japanese and i can't find one.

The translation files are inside the BW Fixpack package (BiG World Fixpack -> ts25mini -> _copy).

And so they are. I was so caught up in trying to find a copy of the mod, that i didn't bother to lookup what was actually right in front of me. Getting old i guess. Thank you for pointing it out. I am sorry that i put people through this particular snipe hunt.

This is odd, after i opened the TS25 translation in the BW Fixpack, i noticed that the final quest only has question marks for dialog. Am i the only one, or is this what you get? Am i to believe that the mod was never fully translated? Any information will help.

Apparently, it hasn't been fully translated/proofread. Ask Leonardo Watson (at G3 so that he gets a notification) whether he has ever received the full version.

I followed skellytz suggestion and messaged Leonardo Watson at G3 and he seemed surprised that there was anything wrong with the fixpack. From what he said, the mod was fully translated. I assume that translation to be in German, which is all right, it is easier to translate German than it is Japanese.

Further he said that the next release of BW Fixpack will be updated to include the translation that he has of the mod. This is good for me, because i was working on an English translation and was getting just a little frustrated with German articles.

So there it is. There is one thing about TS25 Minimod though, no one is hosting or supporting the mod. The only way you can get a copy is from someone who has a copy.
