Hello! First of all, thank you for this amazing mod! But! I encountered a problem. I am in TOB, Forest of Mir (Gorion and Dekaras showing up and being mean). And I wanted to remove dear Edwin from party so I can have Tamoko appear (I am also playing Sarevok romance mod). But! When I remove him he dissappears (doesnt matter if I remove him and tell him to wait here, or remove him and teleport him into pocket plane, or remove him in the pocket plane) and I can't find him. My reputation is 20 but I changed Edwin to neutral so that shouldn't be the problem. My team: Imoen, Cernd, Haer'Dalis, Sarevok, Edwin).

I am playing BG2EE.

My question is, is it bug or does it have to be this way? Can I somehow via console bring romanced Edwin back? What do I do? Please help.

This is a wild guess, but how did you change him to neutral? the EE engine handles the "do not leave because of rep" a bit differently than the original engine, it might well be he still has the same opcode or is missing one like when he was evil. I don't really know what I'm talking about here, though. What does he say when being kicked out, could you quote his line?

(On the other hand: taking Edwin's ego, it's only natural he'd disappear if the PC prefers someone else's romance!! ;p )

After being resurrected (Bodhis abduction) you have an option to change his character. And he says "One must assume that there is some logic behind asking such a skilled wizard as I to leave... but I shall be damned if I can figure it out."

The change of alignment in th mod is done via ChangeAlignment("Edwin",NEUTRAL) so I'd hope the EE can handle this. I have no idea how the "angry leave" in the EEs are triggered, though. Maybe the trigger was already set while he was still of evil alignment due to the high rep (another wild guess). If you tell him to wait here, can you see what happens? Does he just vanish?

Another wild guess: does he have an item that grants him invisibility of sorts? You could check whether he's still there by applying an area spell that would cause him damage in case he's invisible.

OMG thank you! I took off all of his items and rested, then removed him and he was still standing there, so it must be it! (I checked the option to send him to pocket plane, and it works too). Or he decided that leaving unequipped is not in his best interest. Anyway, it worked, thank you so much for your help.

Haha! Well, he has a big ego but he is not dumb.
