Do you really, really need all of this? This is a madness to debug. I won't even try checking it.

 

Please read all individual mod's readmes and thin this out to something reasonable. The install order seems also horrible but I am not dealing with that until the content gets thinned out (a great part of these mods are not available to EEs anyway and I dunno them). The lu_d5 issue probably comes from another mod breaking Might & Guile classes.

 

Keep in mind that for EEs, the community moved to "just setup a modded install for a single playthrough and rebuild the installation list for each playthrough" instead of promoting all-in solutions.

I appreciate your help, but please refer to my initial post where I said I'm only writing here to say what I was able to puzzle out while trying to install all this. I'm not actually expecting other people to debug this atrocity for me. At most I expected some hints and breadcrumbs if anyone had them on hand, which you were kind enough to throw my way.

 

More to the point, if I was going to settle for just what I need, I wouldn't be installing a megamod. 

 

I am also disinclined to thin out anything because it worked just fine with everything before, excepting Made in Heaven and Paladins of Faerun that weren't part of BW at the time.

 

The install order is unlikely to be the problem either, because I used the Install.bat with no modification to Individual.bat, so that's Leonardo's order there.

 

On that note, I've been reading the PDF guide and I think I found the main problems - namely, the automated Installer appears to install certain components that the Guide says are in conflict.

 

1: Install.bat tries to install Made in Heaven Encounters and Quests and Erevain from NEJ3 together, despite that they have insurmountable differences over the Spells.ids file, and Individual.bat seems to have the necessary conditional triggers for them. "In spell.ids both of them use the same literal number for different symbolic identifiers." I am considering removing Erevain from the Individual.bat for my next try (since it's an incomplete part of NEJ3). On the other hand, even the guide's version of MIH-EQ has its components numbered differently than the PDF says they should be, so it could very well install improperly or cause problems anyway (i.e. maybe Spell.ids isn’t the only source of conflict, and maybe Erevain isn't the only conflicting mod?). I'll try the former first because MIH is one of the few mods I found that enhances the challenge in the vanilla BG1 portion of the game.

 

2. BP Component 1200[Horreds Lair] seems to have the same issue with Erevain. I wonder if this means Horred's laid conflicts with MIH the same way? Presumably not, since I doubt this didn't occur to whoever checked for the Erevain-MIH conflict. I think I'll leave it out anyway though.

 

3.I think I might leave out level1 NPC and everything onwards because it apparently has a component that crashes the game if combined with Refinements HLAs. While I'm 100% sure that Installer didn't mess this up (as in, it didn't install the component that has this problem) I did get a CTD right after starting a new game, and there are apparently outstanding issues with multiclass kit HLAs anyway. Since many of the components are included piecemeal in other tweak mods (even if not as 'elegantly' whatever that means), I think I'll make do with console commands for giving XP to new party addons. Though none of this was a problem in my last megamod, so I'm probably overreacting.

 

4. I think I'll leave out Divine Remix too. It doesn't seem to play well with several mods that update spell lists. It did integrate well enough in my last megamod, but I do recall cleric/druid spellbooks being rather thin compared to mage ones, so it's not like I got any benefit from it.

 

I've gotten my hands on the non-GOG versions of the games in the meanwhile, since the former did weird things (like never remembering that I did, in fact, run the initial setup and game before). Maybe that will help.

Question:

For this program, after I select my mod 'preset' choice, does the program go out and download all the needed mods for the preset I selected, or do I still need to go hunt them all down myself?

When I install TDD 1.14+iwdification with BWP 19.2, iwdification installed with errors

Who can tell me how I can reslove it, thank you very much

Looks like some other mod is adding too many new spells and filling every single available slot in spell.ids. The engine puts a limit on the number of spells that can be available on each level.

This is because TDD is adding too many new spells
Do I have to install iwdification before TDD,or there is another way to reslove it.

I don't think there's a way other than simply avoiding to install too many spell adding mods (or the relevant components of the biggest ones).
