Hi all,

Bored in my old age and decided to revisit BG.

 

I am looking for a list of the Big World mods before 10/13/11.

 

A few years ago (before 10/13/11) I started a BIG WORLD and everything was going great until I got to Bassilus and found out that the +2 Electric Hammer had been nerfed (cursed) by one of the mods so that if a Cleric had it equipped, they couldn't cast spells.

 

I still have my original Big World Fixpack file I put all the mods in. I just need to know which MOD to delete to get rid of that nerf.

 

I also have the BiG_World_Installpack_v10.1 and so far I have not been able to determine if there is something newer/better.

As a suggestion, you could go to the download page and go to the left hand side, click on the link to BiG World English v18.2. The page you end up on has, where you can download the current mod install order and on the right hand side it lists older version, that are still downloadable in pdf format. Scroll down the list until you find a version that predates what you are looking for. BTW, the list goes back to 2008.

Somewhere in there is what you are looking for, you may have to search the list a few times to find what you are looking for.

Offhand, I'm guessing Item Revisions. Heh, I have no clue, but I'm fairly sure it's not Thrown Hammers.

 

You could also just install everything BiG by default and do a --change-log on the .itm file, which would narrow down the list of suspects considerably. Then just uninstall the offending mod (usually not as much of an issue as it used to be when END_BIFF was the norm).
