Hello

Friend offered to buy me IWD EE, which is great.

Just wondering if it is possible to convert sound files from BG 1/2 and Kelsey Mod to use for personal game play. I've tried ever online download converter and downloadable program I could find after taking the files from mod pacs but all I get is failed. Non Supported Format OR File may be corrupt.

Is it possible to convert sound files/ put them in IWD EE?

Thx.

I don't think you should have to convert them at all.  Just put them in the appropriate folder for sounds in the IWDEE folder in Documents (can't look up the exact folder names ATM).

If you do want to convert them for whatever reason, they are probably ACM files.  PS gui (or the underlying acm2wav.exe command-line tool) can do the job, as can Near Infinity.

"Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart-arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!"
