Hi! I am happy to announce that new NPC IEP mod is now available! This time it's Minsc Friendship! So grab our favorite Rashemi, his mighty friend Boo and go kick some evil butts!

The mod was made to work on both old BG and the Enhanced Edition.

 

I would also like to announce that this may be the last IEP mod I wrote. There are many reasons, but let's remember NPC IEP is a SHS mod series and it was never a project of one modder. There are great authors here - like Shadowhawke, and Kaeloree. If we want those NPC to introduce new ideas and outstanding talks, we need different views. That doesn't mean the series is going to hit some wall. No! I will still look around for great modders that may offer their time and join the group of IEP authors. If you are a mod author yourself, contact me. I will take a look at the talks and ask for additional opinions from other authors I am in contact with. Everything to keep high quality of this mod series.

Minsc Friendship has been updated and is now available with Mac OS and Linux games support (in the same package):

• Added minscfriendship.ini metadata file to support AL|EN's "Project Infinity".
• Rewrote itemdial.2da appending in a more "cosmetic" way.
• Added REQUIRE_PREDICATE process to avoid installing the mod in inaccurate games.
• Component: added DESIGNATED number and "minsc_friendship" LABEL.
• Updated deprecated modding tools links.
• Lower cased files.
• Updated and renamed readme file to minscfriendship-readme-english.html.
• Added Russian translation: Arkie and Arcanecoast.ru.
• Included Linux and Mac OS versions in the same package (thanks AL|EN!).
• Updated WeiDU installer to v246.
• Transferred mod to Spellhold Studios GitHub account.

it's so great to see new mods, lately I've been craving anything new and you brought both Minsc and Korgan- my fav characters, thank you! love Petsy most from your NPC mods yet my char cannot romance her as she's racist I hope you will make some addon to her opening option at least for humans as well I hope to see more of new stuff made by you! thank you once again! ♥

Minsc Friendship updates to v5.8.

• Added dynamic install order syntax and global `LABELS` to support AL|EN's "Project Infinity".
• Added Spanish translation (thanks Magis365).
• Reformatted readme file and moved it into new "readme" folder.
• Added archive libiconv-1.9.2-1-src.7z with iconv licence info.
