Hey all. Just a quick question. I have a new game installed and goofed and didn't balance the xp and am leveling at a really fast rate. I know there used to be a toned down version of the xp bonus files for the original saga. I found a version that gives the xp I have now. I thing 1000 xp when scribing a 1st lvl spell is too much. Would love to find the ee version of the toned down traps locks and spells 2da I had in the OS game for EE. Any idea would be great.

Just make a (text) .txt file with Notepad, then copy this into it:

You might want to add the 41 to 51 levels...
And then edit the figures, and use "Save As..." and name it as xpbonus.2da and move it into the game folder override folder. Easy. My suggestionm is to Set the Pick_locks to start from 1000 and then reduce it with 50 each level, same with disarm traps... and leave the Learn spell as is.

So set pick locks and disarm traps at 1000 and then go 950 900 and so on for each and leave learn spell at 1000 ? I will try this

I'm curious, is this also available for the vanilla game, BG2/TOB?

Yes. But it's not like it's any different though. And you can do the very same thing there. It wasn't in the orioginal BG1 though... but the EE has one.
