I tried to download the mod earlier, but the link says it's broken, and it just fails. It's apparently been broken for a while now, is there an estimated time for it being fixed?

There's a difference between the file being reported of being broken and actually being broken. The broken flag is active, cause it's far more simple to activate it, than de-activate it. Forum software stuff...
It's not broken. Here it is(direct download link). Now, of course if you can't download from that, then ... it's still not broken, it just means that the pbroblem might be between the site and your browser, what it is, doesn't matter, I'll upload it to another site if you request such.
