Hi everyone.

Please may i ask you for help ?

 

After Isra asked me to talk in Inn before gone sleep we reunited and next step of romance has started after night. Im happy cause i was waiting long for that moment. Sadly after this (i checked many times) Isra and Aerie cant walk continously they stops after few steps, sometimes they walked a bit longer.

I tried to remove all items, tried to change stepping nods (finding patch value) in baldur.lua but it didnt helped. 

 

I have last patch and Baldurs Gate II EE in steam.

 

Please someone help  i would be appreciated.

This stuttering most likely is caused by some loop in the scripts. Isra's romance coming to this stage (normally 2) may end Aerie's not yet committed one, at least that is what is intended but there is a bug in one of the scripts.

If you can, open both their override scripts with Near Infinity and look for the romance triggers that involve both of them to find the issue.

 

PS I f this does not help you, post these files from your game/override folder here rh#isr.bcs and aerie.bcs together with a zipped savegame from the situation.

1. I wish to tell that during installation i skipped cross mod option install (second part) .

2. Second thing is strange cause if i asked clua console for active romance instead of inform me is set to 1 it says it not exist

3. I was thinking to remove them temporary from party or let them die and resurrect but i worry it will impact badly on romance especially on Isra.

 

If i be in home i will try but to be honest i dont know how to do this. I will pack You asked and send as attachment here.

What I meant to say is that if you decide on Isra's romance (Like sleeping with her) this will end the option for Aerie's romance. You will have further romance with Isra but just friendship with Aerie.

After i remove Aerie Jaheira started to act same way, after Jaheira removal, Isra and rest party were walking right. After I joned once again Aerie, problem back and bug appeared again.
Jaheira and Imoen has also romance active set to 1.
 
I tried to set to 0 but it didnt helped.
 
 
 
Strange thing i couldnt find bcs file for Isra ! I searched all places under BG II folder using searching, all is found but Isra.
 
 
Seems i have empty in my media, cant add any files, attachments  - no option, maybe i have no permission ?

Now, if only there was a general tool you could use to call out all the active scripts to say what they are doing, things were golden. One wouldn't even need to know any of the above. Enter the Imp:

To find out what's off ... one could simply save the game, install the LStest mod and find out all the script actions that are running when the stutter happens via the LStest mod, and thus find out what makes the stutter happens, uninstall the LStest mod and fix the file and move on. I found the issue.

When you have that lovetalk with Isra, this makes Isra your heart's choice and stops other romances. This is what we expected.

 

But Aerie has a nasty little script that resets her romance whenever some other mod kills it.

Now on every game round Isra switches Aerie to off and Aerie switches back to on....the loop I was expecting.

AND

Another such thing exists for Jaheira...

 

Do this:

1, Extract the attached repaired files into you gamefolder/override

 Repaired_NPC.rar   5.78K   226 downloads

2, Test it in your game, everything should work normal (at least with your current party, maybe same thing exists for other vanilla romances, e.g when you pick up Viconia.

3. In case you are fine now in your game, additionally do this:

Look into your Weidu.log file in your game folder and see if you have this inside:

CDTWEAKS/SETUP-CDTWEAKS.TP2~ 0 3183 // Romance Cheats: Beta 5 BWP Fix

No, Imoen should not have this issue, the CDTweaks bug only affects the vanilla romances.

I hope i will keep romance also with Imoen and Isra mod not shut down this. Yeah i know i shoudnt keep multiple romances but i have limited time and cant spare much time for several runs in BG

There should be no problem. Isra only reacts to vanilla romances. Imoen's is another mod.

 

I cannot tell what the Imoen mod does however, I do not use it due to its bugs.

Do not worry - I play the EET, I do not know if things happen in rhe BG2EE you have. So keep calm.
