It will be intresting to know, if they use the BGEE game as the base or some other horror constucted from strings.
Cause if they use the old engine, there will be quite lot of mods that will be basically compatible with the new version, while they were certainly NOT with the old one(as they used totally different opcode etc things).

SPOILERS !
The NPCs are tied quite heavily on the areas they are part of. In PST ! So adding new would mean more areas.

Yeah, have you tried to romance an immortal who could looses his memory every time they die, which in PST tends to be more than ones a day, for the protagonist. And tries to kill himself. Yes, there's a lot to love in a mind that wants to kill themselves. Perhaps the possibility of death being the most alluring, for everyone else except the loved ones. Trimming the tree of life is occasionally needed, and we do prefer that you do it yourself, it spares us from the bother.
