Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Ok, what did I miss? In the recommended compilation the mod I think is dealing with the grand mastery, the BGT Tweak Pack, is selected. I thought that since it is selected, grandmastery for multiclassed characters is activated. I thought customization is for selecting or deleting mods from the list. So, what should I have noticed?
EDIT: Mea coulpa, or mistake, or oversight. I just noticed there is another tweak mod, the "Tweaks Anthology (pre-release) [EN]" which is red and not selected. Is it this one for the multiclass grand mastery?
EDIT 2: I found in the game folder a "Setup-cdtweaks" which was the setup for the aforementioned mod. Run it and problem solved. Why was it in my game folder though since it is a red(expert) mod and I only have the recommended mode, I have no idea...

The mod is not eXpert... it's the same mod as BG2Tweaks, just recode using weidu's new things so it works in several Infinity Engine games, the BWS might not have totally opted it in in the full implementation as it's still under a beta state, but as such, it's quite much finished, the last time I looked at it. A component from it might be in the eXpert category, but NOT THE ENTIRE THING.

Take a closer look at the cdtweaks components - only one of them has a problem, deselect this and the rest is fine. Mods appear red in the BWS if you just view headlines and at least one subcomponent is red or de-selected.

So recommended doesn't have it included because of partial (subcomponent) issue...
It is clear to me now that I have not a good understanding of how to read the BWS list. What I did is pick the type of installation (recommended) and then click on "Chose Mods and Components. Doing that, "Tweaks Anthology" appears as a single line on the list which by expanding on it has nothing below, just this warning for "BATCH".
After choosing a pre-selection, you can customize which mods and components are selected for installation by clicking the button below the menu.
and I didn't see any components to "Tweaks Anthology", I really thought this single line was all there was to it.

That's probably the wrong selection portion. It's elsewhere, or the BWS hasn't been updated on that portion of the mod selection for way too long time. ALIEN would know. Unfortunately I can only open the BG2EE's BWS, at this computer.
I only found that single entry for it by using the search function.
PS, you are using the "Baldur's Gate 2 / Baldur's Gate Trilogy (BGT) Customization" correct ?
What do you mean?

Before you can select the components, the previous window gives you a choice of HOW and what game the install is made in, it's between component choises and the language choice windows, if you remember that, the choice needs to be the "plah plah plah Full Customization" or you'll be using a .bat in BG2... the whole way and so you can't really choose components. While the full cust.. gives that.
And I thought I was being smart by automatically deleting, batch installing. Little did I know... BWS is not for kids! Seriously now, I need to learn a lot about how to properly use it. Now I get the suggestion in my previous post for a play-test before I go through with my intended install. For example, just adding a single mod, the "FinnJO subrace" and suddenly things went bang!
So, I got my first bug report to make...
