Hi everyone

First of all I would like to say thank you to authors of EET, BWS and mods for creating such wonderful tools - guys, you are amazing!

However, I have encountered some serious installation problems with RoT - apparently something went wrong with

the BACKSTAB.2DA table or something. Below please find a spoiler with the corresponding text. Just in case it is helpful, I have also enclosed full debug, as a separate file.

Just to provide some backgrounds - I use BWS expert installation and most of the mods with NPC/Tactical/Quest content have been selected. I follow the usual instructions of course and tried to find the solution in existing forums, but unfortunately I have failed to find anything.

Apart from that, another issue concerns the Longer Road (which I would also love to play one more time, this time with the enhanced edition game) - the following problem occurs (I do not understand the reason - I have BG2 EE version with ToB and BP2 included):

Spoiler

I would be really grateful for your help! And apologies if the answer is obvious or the question has been answered already (I have not spotted any answer).

By the way - I have seen a topic (http://www.shsforums...odies-to-eeeet/) concerning other great mod which I used to play in the good old days, namely CtB. I would like to give it a try too, though BWS does not include it. Assuming that I use BWS, could you please instruct me how can I have this installed? I noticed that Roxanne has written, that CtB should be installed before RoT - woud it even be possible, bearing in mind that I am using BWS? Also, is there a way to play the TS (Tortured Souls) with EET? Once again, apologies for lots of additional questions and thank you in advance for your help!

Regards

Ar0n

If I'm not mistaken, but RoT I believe is currently going through some revisions.

I have just checked again mod compatibility list posted in the other topic and it seems that RoT is not present (neither is the Longer Road), in which case I assume it is not compatible and I should skip it while running BWS?

That I'm not entirely sure on, I would wait a bit till someone here can give a better idea what's going on with it.

1) If you want to install the RoT for EET with the patch, you should only install the main component - nothing else. This is a mod still under development and test. Unless you consider yourself expert and guinea pig, do not use it yet.

2) There is an experimental version of CtB for EET, it is not yet fully tested and thus not supported yet by BWS - I have it installed manually since I want to test it (status is same as 1)

3) The Longer Road v1.5 is not compatible with EET. I have recently done a conversion http://www.shsforums...e/#entry593486, this is not yet supported by BWS due to its beta status.

All three mods are only test versions - to use them in a BWS install requires manual actions, you have to do the right things at the right moment of the install and you will still risk your installation. It is only recommended to use these mods in the current status if you want to help in beta testing and debugging and have the skills to eventually debug your game yourself locally if you get stuck (expert modus in BWS terms).

Thank you Roxanne for a quick and very helpful answer. Debugging is too much for me I guess, but maybe I will give these mods a try anyway and install them manually.

Thank you Alien - I guess I will wait for it then and would be happy to test it for you. I understand that no exact date can be given now, but would it be reasonable to assume that the next month is theoretically feasible (I just can't wait to try it)?
