Hello,
My big world setup installation gave me this warning during install :
WARNING: file "setup-refinements.tp2" does not exist (this is the file targeted for patching in "SETUP-REFINEMENTS.TP2.PATCH" in "Big World Fixpack/refinements"). This might mean you did not extract all of the filesof the mod, or it might mean that the patches for this mod were made for a different version of the mod than theversion that you are using (you would see this message if the version you are using moved or renamed the tp2 file).Do you want to try to apply other patches for this mod anyway? If a target file is different from the originalfile that was used to create a patch, the patch might fail completely (making no changes) or it might failpartially (making some changes) or it might succeed with "fuzz" (if all of the lines to change are still in thefile, but some other lines were added in between). If partial patching occurs, the mod might fail to install ormanifest other problems later. If in doubt, please visit one of the modding forums and ask for help.[Enter Y if you want to try patching anyway, anything else to skip patching this mod.]
Alternatively the files can be extracted from the archive using WinRAR. If properly extracted, you should have a Refinements folder, setup-Refinements.tp2 and Setup-Refinements.exe in your BG2 folder. To install, simply double-click Setup-Refinements.exe and follow the instructions on screen.
I put installer on pause after extract and I saw :
After resume I had a new message :
WARNING: File "setup-refinements.tp2" contains 'VERSION ~beta 4.05~' instead of expected 'VERSION ~Refinements v 3.31~'! This is the file targeted for patching in "SETUP-REFINEMENTS.TP2.PATCH" in "Big World Fixpack/refinements". This might mean that the patches for this mod were made for a different version of the mod than the one that you are using, or this might mean that the mod was already patched and then removed from the list in the "BWP_Fixpack.installed" file without restoring the original pre-patched files.Do you want to try to apply the patch anyway? If the target file is different from the original file that was used to create the patch, then the patch might fail completely (making no changes) or it might fail partially (making some changes) or it might succeed with 'fuzz' (if all of the lines to change are still in the file, but some other lines were added in between). If partial patching occurs, the mod might fail to install or manifest other problems later. If in doubt, please visit one of the modding forums and ask for help.[Enter Y if you want to try patching anyway, anything else to skip patching this mod.]
I'm not using EET, so what can I do ?
- Is the beta 4.05 already fixed so I should just say no and skip the fix ?
- Should I answer yes ?
- Should I donwload manualy the v 3.31, remove the 4.05 files after extract and extract manually the 3.31 and resume ?
