I only used the one for Sound Burst, so far.
I had to cut out the last frames, I think they were too big and caused a mess...

Why does Inner Focus add a +1 to Sorcerer's charisma ? Why would he need such a bonus ?

Because a Sorcerer's prime attribute is (or at least should be) CHA. Other than this aestetic reason, I have none.

TG I was going to link back to the old discussion of this but it seems to be gone.

Can you confirm that old posts were deleted. It would be a pity for so much good discussion to be lost.

I never deleted any of the discussion topics (and neither did Littiz, right..?) , so I'm pretty sure they must be there.

TG, that's for the third edition. In BG2, intelligence seems to affect sorcerer's spellcasting, so I would suggest changing that to a +1 INT bonus.

OTOH I would stick with Cha.

But I would have refinements modify the sorcerer kit description as well.

The modified description was already in the pre-release versions of the mod :P
(when WeiDU wasn't even friendly as it is now, with the improved STRING_SET command and all ;) )

Actually, the only attribute that matters to sorcerors is WIS, when they cast (limited or not) Wish. that is, unless you install my "cheesy" Limited Wish & Wish component ;)
Anyway, there was discussion on how to make CHA valuable to Sorcs right on a topic here. But it turned out to be far too processor - inefficent, as I recall... Probably the topic got deleted / blocked since it was a favourite spam target by ***

Hmm, I guess I missed that one. To be honest, I'd be interested in the details...

Druidic Sorcerer added spells for high CHA and WIS. What was the method used in that mod?

Druidic Sorceror creates a scripting rat that will check your wis and cha and apply appropriate spell effects, but only when starting game. If you want further stat adjustment (Lum the Mad, say) to work, you need to append a huge block list to bladur.bcs (25*24*6*3/2, to be more precise). Old thread is here

Stats may change anywhere in the game, so you'd need a continuous check to adjust the amount of slots.
Any other solution would be -simply put- wrong.

And you can't really think of adding so many blocks to baldur.bcs (assuming one would ever sit down and write them ;))

As it was suggested by Andyr before, I'm going to improve Tracking somewhat. The new version will cast a "hidden" Detect Invisibility spell upon activation, which will have 75% to reveal any invisible or hiding creatures in a 30' radius are around the Ranger (or Bounty Hunter).

Also, there is a good chance for a few new HLAs too: Whirlwind for druids, Deathbolt for priests and new Improved Spins for Blades.

Improved Critical and Insignificance will be dropped on the other hand.

I should say that I'm starting to like a lot this alpha build of Version 2 :)

The new abilities are cool, no doubt.

In this case, I would suggest to choose another name, because it can create confusion. :P
