GWW: It's a known bug with the engine: when your former class reactivates, the CLAB file of the 1st kit is reapplied.

It's not a bug, it's needed for a correct reactivation of the class (in truth the same thing happens when a character joins the party).
It becomes a bug with Feral Spirit, indeed...
You're right about the script, @the_bigg, but it's worse since it must be repeated for all the six party members... it's the same thing I've done a dozen times for Use Scrolls.
EDIT: sorry, you said this yourself :D
Not really able to decide if it's worth the computational load in this case...

About Wong Fei: I've done many fixes to that one to make it usable by S.A. (there were four redundant flags against it). I should have noticed the Kensai problem and fix even that one, at that point :D Well, next time ;)

Was using the evil Divine Intervention tonight & it summoned 2 "Apocalyptic Boneguards" & something like Meteor Swarm ... problem was that the Boneguards went hostile with this combo. That was a short fight for me.....

Haha, that is intentional - they are positioned right inside the storm to become hostile and attack the caster :lol: . And since they are immune to fire, that can be a quite nasty battle... :P

BTW try to experiment with evil DI as much as possible! ;)

I noticed SwashImoen has an base AC of 13 (instead of 10 like everyone else)... I don't think that's intentional, is it ? ;)

Just wanted to ask...
Did you notice that Fighter\Thief\Mage and Fighter\Cleric\Mage HLA
include mage spells...
But neither can cast 9th level spells.
I'v version 1.03.

Two small things:

1)I guess this is more of an engine bug and not a bug caused by Refinements, but if you assign a script that automatically uses healing spells on wounded party memebers to a Shapeshifter (N)PC, he/she will cast them even while in werewolf form.

2)With Refinements installed Shapeshifters are unable to use poisoned throwing daggers, though Im 90% sure they could in the vanilla game (and Jaheira can use them, so they don't seem to be restriceted from druids).

I forgot it at first, but the behaviour of Wong Fei's Stone was intentional.
It seems it used to be usable by all fighters and monks.
It also seems I made it unusable by Wizardslayers and Berserkers, while it remains usable by Monks, pure Fighters, Kensais, Sword Angels.
Maybe I just thought it was cooler this way... :D
(anyway this change is only installed with the kit)

There is an hystorical reason for this one.

You probably experienced the same problem as TGM.
There seems to be a mod which is in conflict with this component (and maybe with the whole Use Scrolls system), but we haven't identified it yet.
Maybe we could cross-check your mod-list with TGM's one?

Well, it would make sense to include one in Refinements, indeed, sooner or later.
Added to my TODO list.

You may see it as a flaw of the script itself: it should use some checks on the state of the character (silenced, shapechanged, etc) ;)

That's strange, I always thought fighter/druids (or fighter/clerics) use the druids (or clerics) weapon limitations...

Ok, I just looked at the file (dagg16.itm) with IEEP, and you were right, it has nothing to do with Refinements, but I noticed the usuability flags are really strange :wacko:

For example, it is flagged as unusable by clerics and druids, though the description only says "Unusable by: Clerics" (which makes sense, since druids can normally use daggers), but on the other hand is flagged as usuable by Fighter/Druids (so that's why Jaheira can use them). It is usuable by all Kits except Beastmaster and Jester (?)... I can understand the Beastmaster can't use it since it's an iron weapon, but why the Jester ? ;)

Oh, the game is *FILLED* with inconsistencies and redundancies, regarding the usability system (and descriptions)

Anyway, in that case, the jester flag is added by the Sword Angel component (a **VERY ILLEGAL** trick I used to reach my goals).
Don't worry, it should work fine for jesters ;)

No thief (neither multiclassed nor dual classed nor true class) can get UAI with Refinements installed. And that's a good thing, that ability was horribly overpowered.

As Jolinar says, all thieves lose it.
It has become a bard-only ability :)

We both had :

This GREATLY reduces the options, since I use all of those mods except Valen and Ease of Use.
EDIT: Well, I still have to install UB, but I don't have any other negative reports about that one.

Now, I doubt Valen could have anything to do with that problem, while I know Ease of Use makes some changes to Scrolls... yet I already checked that, and the WeiDU coding we both use should allow compatibility.

As in the case of TGM, I still suspect there might be some other type of problem. You might be using old saves, or you might have UNinstalled and REinstalled stuff in a different order than the first time, while still using a save created with the first installation.
(Refinements, as many other mods, won't react nicely to such operations ;))
Or maybe something else we haven't thought about yet.

I don't know. I'm alost entirely sure I used a clean install of BG2 and started a new game with the mods mentioned above + Refinements. The "scroll-bug" was there still... :unsure:

Littiz, I want to call your attention upon the fact that Wong Fei Stone is not usable by the kensai, although the description says it is.

I'll keep my suspicions for the moment :P :P :P

I only checked the code, since I don't have a complete install of the game ATM, and I won't complete the install procedures soon (I rarely have two consecutive hours of free time..)

I too experience the problem in which FT (but Yoshi not) can use mage scrolls even before selecting the HLA.
