Is there one?

Going through a town like Nashkel with a very low reputation makes a trigger appear every few steps saying "You have failed! Guards have been alerted!"

Then, bounty hunters spawn, which wouldn´t be so bad except for the fact that all NPCs around you also go hostile, including quest givers. It´s a horrible system imo.

Any mod that adresses this by chance?

AR0900 (BG1-Tel-Anon) and AR4800 (BG1-Nashkel) are the only areas I see that have these trigger zones. Nashkel's are along the roads, bridges and fields.

You can open ACTBOUN.BCS (Nashkel) and ACTTELAN.BCS (Tel-anon) using Near Infinity and add a False() to the trigger conditions to disable these, if you want.

BiG World Fixpack (community collection of mod fixes and compatibility patches, with user-friendly cross-platform script)

BiG World Setup (tool to automate best-practice installation of Infinity Engine mods on Windows, with conflict analysis)

Thanks!

However now I met the Flaming Fist attack teams, which are death squads plain and simple.

They spawn a group with battle mages, soldiers that apply oil of speed and thieves that quaff potions of invisibilty.

Maybe you´d stand a chance towards the end of BG1 but then again they just keep coming and coming...

At the very least there should be an end to the attacks if you killed a few waves.

For now I think the only thing to do is cheat up my reputation with Shadow Keeper

Low reputation = game kills you off.

One aspect of the game I never realized cause I always avoided such low rep, however this time I just "went with it" instead of save scumming. Big mistake.
