Hi All:

 

Looking for some help.

 

My first time playing FFT.  So far lots of fun.  But now it is not too funny.

 

BG2EE mega mod game made with BWS.  Lots of mods, but nothing that BWS did not like.

 

Talked with Elminister in Trademeet.  Went to Portpentyrch.  Talked with the Tanar'ri.  Went through the cave.  Could not get the key.  Went back to the Tabar'ri.  Was sent to Ceinwin.  Got the potions from her.  Went back to the cave and got the key.  Went back to the Tabnar'ri.  He took the key but would not leave.  Killed the Tanar'ri.

 

Went to Cerender Hold.  Killed the Red Robes.  Was sent to find people in the West Government District and Docks.

 

Found Angharad Firehair.  Sent me to another underground cave in Portpentyrch.  I am in the first area (YS0200) and trapped there.  Searched the entire area.  I found two staircases, two pits (?) with one blue and one black, two areas that have red outlines but are not traps (?) with two walls that are traps.  If I approached either staircase or the entrance, I get teleported to other areas.

 

Tried all kinds of things but cannot find out how to get up the stairs.  I would like to know how to get out of the area.  Any suggestions?

The exit to the next area you want to find is in the north, just opposite to where you entered. The walls open and close with timers at random. Do not stand in the openings too long or you get crushed. You also need to defeat some demon knights to trigger the right exit staircase. This is a very complex riddle -have fun.

Thanks for the information.  I thought I had killed every monster, but I found more keep popping up.  It took a long while, but I finally got to the stairs after killing the demon knights.  It was tricky because the original path got blocked and I had to go the long way to get to the stairs.

 

I do not think I could have come up with that solution by myself.
